I have a feeling it should work for the protected 3vs because he's not offering a separate charger for those.

When I ordered my 3v protected batteries for the Thermo from an eBay seller, a charger was part of the deal. So I'll have 2 chargers to possibly to work with the 16340 batteries but of course I don't want to kil anything if protected or unprotected batteries need different chargers.

Good question because I can't manage anymore chargers..I already have one for my NIMH camera batteries, I have the TR-001 for my 14500's and 14650's and now I'm getting one with the 16340's pretty soon I will need a separate power strip just for these chargers =/

Might want to check this charger out. UltraFire WF-188 Charger switchable for 3.0/3.2/3.7 volt batteries. 3V and 3.7V charging. Not sure about charging 14650's, but it does say it can charge 26650's so it should be able to handle to 14650's. Someone correct me if I am mistaken. Might help to eliminate your plethora of chargers. Super T Manufacturing, Innovative manufacturer of electronic cigarette products.. Less than $18 shipped. Scroll down almost to the bottom of the page.

Just wanted to let you know the Protected AW 17670 is said to work with the thermo tube.

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/litecig/82485-3-7-thermo.html

Those have 1600mah capacities at 3.7v. So thats 12-16 hrs of heavy vaping at 3.7v.

If we're going to keep this discussion going in the new vapors thread, I think it would be good to keep emphasizing that these come with NON PROTECTED BATTERIES this just seems like an accident waiting to happen to me...:(

my point is that this is in the new members thread. folks that wanna use it should at least know what their doing. it looks to me that they are still sending the kit with unprotected batteries and a cheap charger. If you know better fine, but folks coming in here right off the street need more information

lol ......

anyhow - NO battery is completely safe - please, do some reading through roly's excellent guide

Good little charger, I've been using it for about 5 months. Doesn't overcharge, selectable 3.0 or 3.7v and 2 charging speeds that will charge most any size. I've used it with 14500 and 18650 and yes it will do 14650. The negative post is on a slider so it's adjustable according to the size of the battery.

It's a little more expensive than most basic chargers but if you're going to need it for multiple sizes which most of us will eventually whether we think we will at the time or not, it's paid for the slightly higher price.
