I feel the same way but I am not too worried about the nicotine. I am more worried about the flavorings and additives that are present in nic juice. I smoked Natural American Spirits which are purportedly additive-free (and I would want to vomit in the rare case I bummed a Marlboro off a friend) so I didn't experience the harsh 'chemical' taste of cigarettes. Do we have any evidence that inhaling additives and flavorings by vaping all day (like I've been doing) be safer than 5-10 additive-free cigarettes a day?
Absolutely. Smoke is inherently bad. People are being warned these days about fireplaces, wood stoves, you name it. We weren't meant to breathe smoke of any kind.
Do a Google on "wood smoke harmful" and you'll be flooded. Such as here:
EHHI :: Plastics that May Be Harmful to Children and Reproductive Health
"The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has shown that PM2.5 and PM0.5 are the most common size particles in wood smoke. PM2.5 and smaller cause the greatest health impacts because they are small enough to go deep inside the lungs, where they can not only damage the lungs, but also pass through into the blood stream, delivering their toxins throughout the body."
Check this out:
"Wood smoke has many of the same components as cigarette smoke and, therefore, these exposures pose a real health risk for families living in the vicinity of OWFs."
Heh, fireplaces may be as dangerous as smoking. Including "second hand" smoke risks. Take that ANTZ!
(Sorry, I couldn't resist)
Smoke in lungs is bad. Any smoke. All smoke.
