Its like said on another post a while back, It would be a good idea if e-cigs had a timer mechanism of some sort on them so you could only vap for say 10 min in every half hr or so ....Or they could have a signal strenth indacator on them like you get on your mobile phone to show how much nic you have smoked !!!

This is the same case with e or normal cig your body should tell you that you are full! if it doesn't were all screwed

With that bit of info, I'm not entirely surprised the 36mg is too strong!! Silk Cuts are pretty light (0.5mg nicotine in the UK anyway). I think the suggested liquid if you've come from that strength cigs would probably be the low (around 11mg?), or medium strength at most.

I use the 36mg fluid but only vape a few times and then stop. I've come from smoking unfiltered rollies (about 75-100g per week). My brother also smoked rollies but less than me, and finds the 36mg way too strong.

If you have an addiction to somthing your body may well tell you when to stop, but your head says Hmmm keep on going.....Illegal drugs prove that point for addicts.....Then an overdose follows as the wake up call ..If they survive :(

Nic and coke are different drugs and behave in different ways as do all drugs. Coke is designed to never tell the person they are full but nic/alc do tell you that you are full and cant accept no more.

all drugs are different

trog - I appreciate that but its not your problem, if needs be I will sell it to someone here for less then sale value. I think I was just very reckless with it to be honest, a lack of care and information on my part!! I wont give up on it yet though.

..I smoke 30 Silk Cut Purple a day. Ok, given what has happened, if I was to make one more liquid purchase that would give me the happy medium of getting my nicotine fix with minimum chance of any discomfort, what would it be??? I dont know anything about PG or VG or Glycerine..

thanks a lot everyone!

Jimmy

one more thing, I also think the 18MG strength was too strong for me!!

I think chances of the PG just causing a headache are pretty slim, so I'd say go for some low nic juice. If it doesn't give you the nic you need, then move up to something a little stronger.

I can't really sugguest a brand for you to use as I don't know whats available where you live, but anything from a reputable supplier should be okay to use.

I think that as we replace smoking with vaping, our lungs start to get "better" and we can inhale and exhale more freely - to a certain extent. Given this, a deep inhalation of the higher mg juices would get more nic into our systems faster than we're used to. It seems to make sense, at least to me.

Also the fact that we can just sit and vape away at home-work-etc. does not help matters.

I just ordered some 24mg instead of my usual 36, just because I was starting to feel a bit woozy vaping the 36 all day.

Just out of interest Sixstring, approximately how many ml of 36 have you been vaping per day?

Hard to say Kate. I really don't measure it that closely. I do KNOW that I've spent much less on juice over the last month that I would have on real cigs at the rate of about 30 cigs per day.

I'll top up a 901 cart with a drop or two about 10-15 times a day. I have know idea how much that equates to. I'll take a puff or three, put the thing down for 5 or 10 minutes and then pick it up again - all day, every day.

Maybe too much?
