XvoStick users?

Being a part of this duet, I'd like to chime in as well. I also have never in 4.5 years of vape time purchased a clown. So this will be a truly revealing situation.

As it stands now, I'm suspecting that our wanna-bee boxes will arrive well before our real Xvos hit the shores of the US of A. So we will have vape time on the clownies, but not comparison and contrastion time. That will happen tho, and we'll both post our thoughts on these. It should be a massively good time!

I'm delighted with the communication from The Clone Crew, and I do wish and hope that Mini E-Cig finds ways of improving their communications. It seems to be an area of vaping that is highly regarded by vapers, and when communications fail, we lose it for those vendors.

DG, don't ask me why, but I do believe you're leaning towards getting the clown.

Can anybody confirm for me that the DNA40 chips inside the xvosticks all have the Atty lock feature?

I dont want to buy one and find out it has an old DNA chip inside.

I know OURS did, illitirit. I would guess at this point they all do. But of course an emailed question would be your best bet.

My clone was shipped today. No idea if it will have SS or Brass buttons as the original pics had brass but the new ones have SS. Pics look like the original so may not be what I get!!! Will let you know what it is like once I get it. Probably a couple of weeks yet.

ian, we'll have to compare notes, for sure!

I'm far from singing praises at this point. At $50, I'll be happy if it works for a year.

And I'm still (obviously) quite torn...

I can only hope that the originals come back in perfect order, so I can unload this stupid brass, then use the clones for comparison and backup purposes only. If they don't (come back in perfect working order), you're going to witness a combination meltdown&depression take place right here on ECF.

Ummm...... make US happy. You haven't seen a meltdown like a SoCal girl can melt (down).

Already have a sx chip side by side but it does not do tc. I ordered both a black and blue clone when they first got listed in the mail now.

That sucks, I seriously feel for all of you who have a wonky one, and I'm surprised that they are not making it right (yet). Hopefully they correct these issues and make it up to you somehow.

Darn DPL, that is really wrong...seen your responses in a number of threads and you seem like a really decent guy who gives people the benefit of the doubt...so they must really have messed up on their end....
Communication with me was also not flawless, and promisses were not kept, but I did not have it nearly as bad as you and Kat.
I think that if someone received 2 faulty devices they would bend over backwards to give them priority..apparently that has not happend....I really feel bad for you......when you pay top dollar, you should receive top service....I sincerely hope they make it right....

And while we talking about this model and delays, I also received some info on the clone:
I asked if they would come with the SS buttons if I ordered after the inital batch, and I got the reply that yes they do. But they also stated that there are some technical issues in production that need to be sorted out....so that if I order there could be some delay (apart from the 7 day holiday in china)......so it seems this model might be cursed with delays from all sides......

I must add they were very responsive to my inquiry, so that is a thumbs up for them.

Thank you, DG! Everything you said is precise. Our situation as it stands now is QUITE wrong, and we're hopeful that they will be in touch quickly. My sense is that their communication is the biggest of their weaknesses tho, so I'm not really sure how all this is going to play out. Broken promises do not sit well with me either.

DPL is beyond decent, and was crystal clear thru this entire process. We ordered the mods on July the 4th. Here it is, nearly 3 months later, and we had the pleasure of owning two defective high end devices for all of one day.

Can you say BOILING? Yes, I am.

They are certainly NOT bending over backwards, and in fact, it appears right now that WE are being asked to ...... bend over.

Hey all. Have been stalking this thread for a while. Bought my xvostick on september 4th, but has not shipped yet. Was supposed to ship within two weeks. I guess the holidays and the issues noted in this thread might be why. As a result, just plunked down for the clone too. Don't usually buy clones (only other one was the zero, which i had no hope of getting) and don't feel to bad since i am going to keep my original order. If the clone is good, will be nice to have as a beater.

Question for the group: do we know if the clone is anodized or painted?

I've been following this thread from the beginning, and I'm pretty disappointed to see some of the issues that have unfolded. I was planning on picking one of these up right away, but I'm kinda glad I held off now. I remember waiting 4 months for my Microsticks, and they didn't work right out of the box. There apparently was a portion of the mod that was anodized and was not supposed to have been, so it required an adjustment to allow it to fire. It was an easy fix, but still not something I would have expected. I've been considering a clone myself recently, and I would love to hear what you guys think who have one on order. Also, for someone not willing to purchase a clone, here's a pretty good alternative https://www.naturevape.co.uk/envy22-stealth-mod-75w It's the Envy 22 mod by Nature vape. Pretty sure Todd will be reviewing this soon. Only thing I don't like about the Envy 22 is the fact that it doesn't have a user replaceable battery.

I just asked a rep from 3fvape who posts on another forum for a comment on this post. I do know they sorted out what they said were a couple of minor issues before they excepted the order so I assumed all was good when they did receive them and then ship out to buyers. Mine are in the mail system so I can not comment on what shape they are or are not in
