Don't worry. I have a nasty feeling that we are all going to get screwed. If they can't get the original to work correctly, what chance does a clone of the original have???

I'm actually most surprised that I heard nothing back from my last email, which was admittedly very angry in tone and nature.
Later tonight I expect to get an opportunity to speak with Kat. I will get her opinion of whether or not to share all the communications that have taken place here, for anyone to read for themselves. I believe that potential buyers might be enlightened by some of the things I was told, versus what was eventually presented. The part where they ask me to pay for repairs* is particularly entertaining, especially when you see the history of the messages between us.
* "Repairs" for a mod that presented a sticking button after being used for no more than a few hours.
If I am to do this, it will definitely not happen until tomorrow (unless she talks me into it tonight). I'm not sure why but I'm inclined to give them a full 24 hours to reply. Foolish, yes - I know.
I'm not sure why I'm still trying to do the right thing here, but can only assume that I'm hoping that I haven't thrown $505 down the drain. So, selfishly, I refrain...
@Katdarling - that idea I had about getting a couple of Merkavas? Yeah, no. We'll find something to spend THAT money on.
What an awesome mod too, especially with the Kabuki. How sweet that would have looked with SS buttons & cap.
Heartbroken, seriously.

How can I even keep this one after all this? Kat and I had planned this for MONTHS. Joked about the wait, even predicted (and had fun with) the "9 1/2 Weeks" wait...
Then it all went awry - blew up in our faces. And I can't say that she didn't try to warn me (to wait a while), because she did. I should have listened.

It sure is a great looking mod.
I have been assured by 3f rep on another thread they found no issues on the units they shipped out.
I have no further comment ..... just relaying info forwarded to me

I just can’t believe what is happening especially with all the joking we just did a few days ago. I went through my emails and found this as a result of my questioning the issues. You may recall I asked about the button sticking where it gets stuck and continually fires. I also pointed out the button and the hole on the mod could be the issue that is causing this. I mentioned the Evolv DNA40 chip not turning off temperature control. The email I received is dated 22SEP. Although he states they will replace for free, I am now wondering if this is true. Obviously I am very interested in your issue as I have an order pending whether you publicize it or PM me. I placed my order on 21SEP so just a little over a week ago. If need be, I will not hesitate to cancel it especially if they are a company that does not keep its word. Here is what I received from the MiniEcig team:
"Yes, we check the items before the shipment. If there are any troubles we'll replace the item for free.
The problem with the button can be solved by some cleaning.
XvoSticks have standard DNA40 chips by Evolv. New XvoStick, the one that will be shipped to you, have atty lock feature in them, old ones have a previous version of DNA40.
Evolv give 1 year warranty for the chips, you can contact us or Evolv directly in case there are problems with electronical parts.”
I don’t know what the costs involved are and I can only surmise it is nothing to sneeze at nor whether they stated to you at some point that if there are troubles they will replace for free.
