Thank you, drippa! It's a lot of fun trying out different tanks. That GS Air MS (mega shorty) is just too funny. With the little stubby drip tip, you can barely even SEE it has a topper on/in it.

I poked the screen as well. I think Chels must have altered it and that yes, it's an optical delusion. I feel no play whatsoever.

Am I the only one who LIKES the battery cap swirls?? I think it's wonderfully stylized! And I truly think those are NOT machine swirls. I'm pretty sure those are an intentional design. I LIKE 'em!

You guys see machine marks. I see Olympic circles!

Got my XvoStick today. I've had it for about 20 minutes and I friggin' love it already! Size is perfect. I'm going to test it with various tanks, but it works great with my Subtank Mini.

oh man, on mine the button jams up, it gets stuck in and very difficult to unstick, i havn't yet figured out how to fix it

mine occasionally sticks a little but after a moment it un-sticks itself with a loud "click" ... I've been wondering if it would develop into a bigger problem. I figured if it did I would have to resort to taking it apart to fix.

Did you get brass as well? I noticed it started happening to mine the marning after I used it while I was washing the dishes, I was thinking it might be a patina issue. I'll reserve the Mini for wet hands from now on. I've been debating on asking them to consider a button conversion kit

Welp, since this has been brought up as an issue......

My button was sticking as well. Sticking to the point of continual firing. Me NO likey.

And just for information's sake, mine is the stainless steel button. I'm not sure it's a patina issue, drippa.

I figured they could just sell the buttons and top caps as a kit for those that want to change. I like the brass but stainless has the no maintenance advantage.

Honestly at first I was thinking I'd tell them I "lost" one of the adjustment buttons and see if I could finagle my way from there

@Woofer On a different subject. With your MiniDrip is your negative post press-fit into the base? Mine is not, but the positive is. Result is as soon as the screw is loosened the post wiggles quite a bit, back the screw out too far and the entire post just falls out.

Not long at all, after about a day I was getting a little bit of sticking, couple more and it's to the point of sticking / continually firing, I've got the battery out of it until I can work out what the problem is. A shame because everything else seems awesome on this mod

Yes and the MicroDrip is built like that too. I think it is the negative post that is press fit and the positive is held by the screw. I didn't find it to be any problem though, in fact the MicroDrip is the easiest atty I have ever recoiled. I back the screw off a couple of turns, enough to wrap the wire and then tighten it and do the other side. With a little practice I think a three stoplight recoil and rewick is achievable.

I've got the battery out of it until I can work out what the problem is.

In the meantime my (total) guess is that the button is fit to precisely, it needs more slop.

Thanks Woofer. I figured as much, didn't make sense to me that the post would be able to move so much. Plus the post made a loud POP as soon as I undid the screw for the first time. I immediately emailed miniecig but they told me this was "normal" - I'll go email them again

OK, fixed it, and the good news is it's fairly easy. The problem is the button and hole sizes, I guess manufacturing variances cause some of them, like mine, to be too tight of a fit. There's only nanometers in it, one run around the hole with a round file and the button now moves freely.

To get to it I removed the 3 x 5/64 allen head screws from the bottom plate, these are really nice and I enjoyed removing them. Behind the screen toward the front (the button side) of the mod there is a single allen head screw, this holds the button assembly in, I don't know the size but it's the same as the one in the atty plate so you'll all have the little wrench.

After removing this you'll be able to pull the button assembly just far enough to remove the 4 small phillips screws holding it together, keep in mind the usb board is also attached, make sure you don't get the micro usb port snagged in its hole. With those screws off the front button plate and buttons will free themselves.

I used a round file to trim the hole so slightly it was not visible to the eye, then reversed the procedure to put it all back together. Because of the short length of the button assembly wires it's a bit fiddly to get the screws in while holding everything in place, I spent the most time trying to get those 4 phillips screws back in, they weren't that fun. 10 - 20 min job though I'd say.

Button is now working perfectly

ack...not good to hear about these issues...if it is one thing I hate it in a mod is the risc of autofire...that could lead to serious issues if you're not around when it does so.

Good there is a fix, but I am not to keen to take a brand new $300+ mod (including shipping and import tax)apart.....

I hope they caught it and fixed it in the next batch......but I'll have to wait and see when I get mine....still not shipped, and with transport and customs hold up it will be a while yet
