Just received a mail that the Xvo stick received a new firmware update and the Merkava got a design tweak to make it easier to set up.....hehe now I am anxious to know if I'll get the newer versions of each or the older  :)

Guess I'll just ask them :)

Is the firmware update available online to previous purchasers?

And subsequently, going as absolutely large as I can go, all to way to a full size Nauti (5ml) tank.

As you can see, placed next to the ultra-perfect pocket-mod, a Billet Box, it is still quite pocket-friendly.

I am happy. It and I, we are going to get along just fine with each other.

Yah! It's finally here and looking sweet with your Kabuki :D

You didn't happen to video the "peeling off of the screen protector" did you? Would be worth sharing with others less fortunate ;)
lol

Thanks, K2zs! But ours didn't come with anything covering the screen protector. You mean like tape, a'la Mamu?

If mine comes with ala Mamu tape, you can be assured that it will stay there for time immemorial. I do that.

Yes... Rats, that's always the best part...

LOL!!! OK, truth? I have a roll of the tape Mamu used to use. I can put a piece on, then strip it off (queue the music!).

Thanks @Jonner, appreciated! I had asked the good folks over at MiniEcig and all they said was that it "should"

@drugarth, is your xvostick still being made? My 'stick landed in NY this morning - did I order too soon?

Too give you a estimate: I ordered mine last week (august 31)...they said it was still in production and should ship this or next week, and this will be the version with the new firmware.

@DPlong22: looks really nice, the Kabuki is indeed a perfect fit....good tip on that one!!

thanks @drugarth. Now I kinda really am wondering ... I ordered Aug 28 (29th basically) and it shipped out on the 2nd. What are the firmware changes? iirc there is some way to verify the dna 40 board is genuine using some button combo, is there also a way I can check the version?

in the mail it said it now had the atty lock function (so I suppose the old firmware doesn't do that) and 1A charging.
Sorry but I don't own a DNA40 device yet, so don't know the answer to the other questions

Oh you just made me feel much better. I asked them about the atty lock too they would only tell me it "should", Jonner reports his indeed has it as well.

I was thinking Evolv released another revision after atty lock to fix something going wrong with those boards :p But other than that TC glitch Jonner was having, which thankfully has an easy workaround, and the occasional dud chip, Evolv seems to finally have gotten it together. Fingers crossed for how the dna 200 fairs for early adopters ...
