Dude, I (and Kat) are SO behind you, and SO hoping everything goes PERFECTLY well.

Like I said, there's just some oddly bad energy between us, and I'm glad everyone is NOT us. PLEASE do not take our experiences as indicative to what everyone is going through. This is simply NOT the case.
That being said it still seems Xvosticks are still not being thoroughly checked before being placed in boxes!

Thanks DP, I appreciate the support. Like I said the group here will know exactly how this all works out.

I really like the design so if this falls through I'll pick up a clone but I'm really hoping it works out. I had to have the SS buttons :)

It (the clone) is NOT the same. It LOOKS the same, but it's discernibly different (IMO).

I have faith that you'll be fine, and that you'll be thrilled. The SS is MARVELOUS, and my only regret is that I'll probably never get to truly enjoy mine (assuming it even makes it back to me).

But even as much as I despise brass, the one I'm using is absolutely irreplaceable. It has almost completely displaced some pretty nice mods. I'm struggling to NOT use it (to give my other beloveds some play time).

You're going to love it. :)

Maybe though, just MAYBE, this thread WILL have an impact on THAT. And if it does, I'll be the one who is thrilled. Along with whoever ends up with the box. ;)

Between this thread and the Plumes video I would think that they would have to evaluate their business model quickly and make some changes if they want to continue selling mods. They are at a defining moment and failure to adjust their model could have them move away from mod building, and not by their choice. Word spreads fairly quickly in this industry, good or bad but the bad seems to move just a bit quicker.

Hi NSM. It came back and was still sticky out of the box. I wouldn't worry about yours, and I'm not worried at all about the one I have that is working fine. It seems that the majority of issues are out-of-the-box. They explained that they thought maybe they replaced the buttons with the wrong buttons.

I'm VERY glad that your experiences are different from ours. There's obviously some bad energy between them and me, and some things just "are". The more happy customers, the better. For the customers, that is (of course!). More on that below.

Just baffles me and makes me want to use a whole bunch of swear words but I will refrain. How can you send it back because of a sticky button and then receive back a sticky button is just beyond me. This is just ridiculously atrocious and speaks to their CS on the issue.

@NotSoMini ...... bring on those swear words, kiddo. I'm stunned, but have enuf energy to use a few right now.

I received package at 2:30 today! Opened package put battery in xvostick and could've cried when it was reading 0.06 ohms with no tank again! I called VA and I'll admit I wasn't the nicest guy to talk to! The first words out of my mouth were " I can't believe this wasn't checked before being sent out" she said she's pretty sure it was but the guy who checked it was out today! She was very apologetic and asked how I'd like to handle this! From our conversation it sounded like I'm not the only customer at VA with xvostick problems! So instead of going with a blue/brass I had her switch it to red! Maybe I'll have better luck with red since it's newer! I've been vaping for about 6 years and have always bought at least 2 of a mod I really love! I'm not sure 2 Xvosticks are in my future!

So the very friendly lady from VA just called me to tell me my second replacement went out today and she personally put a dripper and a kanger subtank on/in and it checked out fine! Fingers crossed! I'm very thankful for the people at VA or this really could have gone worse for me! Thanks Kat for the kind words!

I'm worried that you'll pull away from this thread. I know this stuff gets DEEP inside you, and I really don't want you going anywhere. This has been our journey from the start, and I really want you here. If you can handle it.

I'm THRILLED to hear that they're standing up large for their customers. I'm tempted to buy something again, JUST to support them. Something ELSE (of course). ;)

Oh that's great news, Motzell! Glad to hear that VA seem to be on top of THEIR customer service.

For what it's worth my xvo is flawless, so they do exist.

Undoubtedly, SPV. And I'm VERY glad to hear/know it. I'm sure there are others too.

But, MAN, what a ride (for too many...). :blink:
