I've had the Plus for about a month now and just realized that I've been using the same 2 AW 18650s for about a year. No wonder performance was not great. I've been thinking my atties were junk, but it just didn't occur to me that my trusty batteries could be the issue.

Ordered a few fresh 2600s and its back to huge hits again especially with the Rhodium contacts. What a difference!

I'm sending one of these retired batteries in to David for testing. Really interested in seeing the actual capacity and load voltage on these heavily used cells.

I'm gonna have to put a date on them from now on...

I'm glad you solved the problem. Which AWs did you use?
Oh, and please post the testing results when you get them.

Yea it was one of those snack myself in the forehead moments. I will ask David to post the results once he does the testing so we can compare them to new batteries.
