I was gonna start deleting and cleaning this thread up but there were so many "quotes" that I felt it was too overwhelming. and I see my hubby has done it already

This is a support group in a social area of ECF. A number of members here have successfully quit those last few cigs a day - with tips from those here and with support for their journey, as well as for their daily issues that make them want to smoke "just one" or more.

Perhaps in skipping around people don't notice there has been a heavy-heartedness around here the past several weeks, for just cause. Too bad for them, this group is awesome and has helped a number of people through some very tough times. Callousness speaks volumes and is not tolerated here.

This group will see you through "ugly"......depression, broken-hearted, grief, illness, all stressors that make you want to smoke. Sometimes we just listen, sometimes we offer advice, and sometimes we gently kick you in the pants...... being nasty just gets you kicked to the curb. :glare:

And last but not least, this is a judgment free zone...... asking "on topic" questions would have produced multiple responses from those who are there now or who were there and won the battle...we'll even hold your hand while you take the journey :)

This is why I love you Jazz!! You have way more tact than I do.

I'm kinda worried about this guy and his ilk, though, we have had several comments about the chattiness of this thread. Why do people want to come into our house and clean up? Don't they have their own house to clean? Maybe they should go build one. . .

For future reference, if you want to talk about smoking or are having any trouble with it, please post about it. We read the newest posts daily!!

Ok- 1 more gift to wrap.....
Another eggnog pound cake to make
and the last 2 dozen cucidatti to roll out and bake...... (Sicilian fig cookie) - Lox calls them Kukla, Fran, and Ollies

 I want to make that poundcake! The Kukla Fran and Ollie's sound mouth-watering as well.

I've got some more shopping to do, probably tomorrow, and I've got to plan the menu and grocery shop for that as well. Joy.

Thank you Lox. :)

I have been sitting here this morning dripping some of the liquids I got when I first started vaping, I guess doing a Shari and starting to sort some of them out. OMG I actually liked these, some of the ones that were my favorites in the beginning are absolutely unvapable. It is amazing how much at least my taste has changed in 5 months. If the ones I liked are this bad I'm not even going to think about trying those that I didn't like.

actually, you might like some of them, I keep a small amount of vodka in a cup on my desk to clean the dripper if I don't like something I tasts, you should be able to do the same with water, just go easy on the # of drops you use to taste something new.

Well I'm a little leery of trying that again, we'll see when my tongue recovers, the whole episode caused a nice case of vaper's tongue. lol
Actually that may have been my tongue trying to save itself from those awful flavors.

Claudia, do try the ones you did not like. With time (steeping and your tastebuds healing) and dripping I think you may find a couple of surprises in there. Sometimes though, poorly made juice is just bad, period. I have also found that different vendors' juices age better than others. Ahlusion and NLV seem to hold up well with time. MBV, HDV and a few others do not age well. You wait that month for the chemical taste to subside then after 3 months some need to move on to a new home. That is how my tastebuds are seeing things recently. Some of the juices I have passed on have delighted others. Some have not. That 1 or 2 year expiration date business is highly dependent on your tastebuds at the time. Just my opinion.

Thank you Lox. :)
