well folks, I really tried to give you some fun, it looks like you are all enjoying the Holidays, so tomorrow is another day, I 'll check back later
And the mania is in my house. Surprise family visitors staying for a few nights so in a rush to clean. Child found the present hiding place and wants to open them all NOW and is throwing a fit. Bar across the street is having a loud holiday party and idiots are being loud outside keeping the child awake
We had invasion of the unwanted relatives today too. DD2's aunt and 2 cousins came over and trekked sand all over my still-wet freshly mopped floor. Aunt curled her nose and asked what that horrible smell was. Sweet as pie I answered "filth" and carried on mopping. They didn't stay long, 
and then DD1's grandmother brought her back from sleeping over and stayed long after her welcome was worn out. She is a chat-er. Grrr.
So now the girls are asleep, they don't have to get up tomorrow but I do, so of course I'm still awake. Taking the ipod to bed and hope that reading electronically puts me to sleep like reading a heavy book does. I don't hold out much hope. Electronics do something to my brain waves that do not induce slumber. I seem to recall the Kindle keeping me awake many nights, but I don't have any more library books to read!! Yet another project that didn't get done this weekend. Who am I kidding?
The road to the hot place is paved with good intentions, and my intentions never come to fruition, so looks like I'm going to spend eternity sweating.
Good night friends! Have to work tomorrow and Friday, then vacation the entire next week. Whoo! Check in with you if insanity abates tomorrow.

I tried to post a couple times yesterday but ECF was having one of its fits so I finally gave up, it would let me read but not like or reply most of the day.

Morning. Gotta leave in 2 hours to make it to mother in laws on time. She wants us to stay linger than the 4 hours we did on Thanksgiving. .. not sure if I can behave that long.

I am so sorry that your husband has been ill and treated to the barbaric Social Security Disability system. It seems that they just would rather we die. I won't give them the satisfaction. I hope you have a Merry Christmas anyway, I have found that while getting gifts is fun, and giving gifts is much more fun, it really comes down to having good friends and family in your life. If that was the criteria for Christmas most people would be a lot happier. I am grateful for the family I created and thrilled to have them in my life. I am even more grateful for the people I have met here on ECF. This is a great group and we all support and encourage each other.
When you get to the hearing phase please have a good lawyer. It is essential. They will help you to prepare, what records to have with you Everything should be documented.
I understand all of the pain and the stress that comes with most of the diseases and maladies you described. I have a pretty good combo of them myself. I can't see doctors so we can only guess at this point what else I will have to deal with.
By the way, I get the sores your husband has and I am very troubled by them turning into infections that my body won't fight on its own.
I have to say that you should come here and chat whenever you need an ear, we welcome everyone with open arms.

Good Afternoon! I've been trying to read when I get a moment ... just haven't had time to respond to anyone's post ... it's been crazy busy with being back to working 7 days a week, and it's been a bit rough the last couple of days as one of the dogs stomped on my foot and broke my toe. I'm feeling for those though that are having a difficult time this season, and for those that have unexpected guests!
I have a lovely night planned for Christmas ... I have been invited to get together with some local Druids and perform the naked chicken dance for canine fertility. I'm pretty excited as one of the Druids will also be bringing an effigy of Ansel -- Ansel is rumored to have been Victor Noir's dog. Ok actually ... I'll be spending the evening watching a movie and relaxing over a small holiday dinner. I am excited though, as it's been awhile since I had a day off, and I'm looking forward to kicking back and having a relaxing day and getting to spend time chatting long-distance with my kid and grandkids. I just keep reminding myself that I only have two more days to go and then I get a break!

Sorry about your foot, those big dogs can do damage at times. I never had any broken bones from my gentle giants when I had a houseful of Great Danes, but had a few minor injuries just the same, mine were more bruises from getting smacked with a very happy tail.
