I just got done reading in the last few days about using vanilla extract in your juices and it said not to. It was in a post in the New Posts so I have no idea where it would be, I would search in DIY liquids. I may be totally wrong about this because I know nothing about DIY but I would do a search or ask Lox or FQ first. Unless you have done that and know it is ok. I have real vanilla extract in my fridge.

i'll wait to find out, My lungs can't take anything crazy

There's a number of threads in the DIY section of using grocery store extracs. I don't recall why, but I left thinking it prob wasn't the best idea and to stick with concentrates.

Thank you, that is what I thought. I can't take any chances in addition to my other health problems, my lungs are not totally clear since the cold I had in February. I vape carefully as it is.

I read the battery warning section on here somewhere (APV forum?) a couple of weeks ago. It freaked me out. All the warnings. Until I learn what is a real danger or not I am playing it safe. Just like all the warnings on an RX. Or on the RX commericals on TV. There are more side effects and warnings than good outcomes for the drug. I am still in the early learning phase of vaping. I am trying to take it slow. Sometimes I think I know a lot more than I do - that is when I am dangerous so I put myself in slowdown mode. Which is hard for me to do.

You do know that cell phones and the other pair, that cell phones and laptop blow up / catch on fire from their batteries too.

Thaya can you explain the eroll to me? How is the battery life? Does it take cartomizers? I'm thinking about if for my mil. She's been using the cig alike and it has kept her off of cigarettes for 2 years now. The company is a small company and she's not happy with the quality anymore. They have lifetime warranty which is great but having to exchange products every 2 months is aggravating her.

The eRoll doesn't take cartomizers or anything else. It has its own proprietary tanks that only hold about 1/2 a ml of juice. They're very cheap, like $1 apiece in a 5 pack. You need a bottle with a skinny dropper cap to fill them, or a syringe, since the opening is very small. Since they hold so little most people just fill up a bunch and carry them in a pill box or something small. You pull off the empty one and pop on a full one in 2 seconds. The attys are a bit pricey at about $5 apiece, but they're easy to clean and last a long time.

The battery is small and is only 90mah. It comes with a PCC (personal charging case) that is 1100mah and resembles an iPhone. You can vape on it for about 1/2 an hour and then you put it into the case to charge back up. It takes 20 minutes to 1/2 an hour to charge and you're good to go again. You can recharge it in the PCC numerous times on one charge.

It looks like a cigarette and feels like one, too. It's meant to be used like a cigarette, vaping it for a while then charging it for a while, then vaping again, and so on. Hope that helps.

Wait. Let me go get my bottle out of the fridge. I think not because of the other things added to the food vanilla extract. It is not the same. One minute guys.

I'm not positive, but I'm pretty sure you can. The flavors that are in our juices are the same flavors that are used in cooking. Why not?

Thank you so much. That will definitely not work for her. She was a chain lighter I don't say smoker because she never finished a cigarette but she was always lighting one up. She always has her e-cig in her hand and every 2 mins takes a puff. Is there something that you or anyone here recommend that is a cig alike?

NO VANILLA EXTRACT

Do NOT use Pure Vanilla Extract (my brand is McCormick) to put in your vape juice. It has the following additives in it:

Vanilla Bean Extractives in water
Alcohol (35%)
Corn Syrup

The Imitation Vanilla Extract will be worse because it will have chemicals in it to mimic the real vanilla.

Unless you verify that this is safe, DO NOT do this. Just because it is safe for food does not mean it is safe to inhale.

This probably will apply to other food flavorings in the bakery aisle. Check with Lox or the DIY forum first.

My eroll came with two batteries and I ordered a second cone so I could have two complete erolls. I charge one while I vape the other and carry spare filled tanks. One thing I have noticed is there is more vapor and a more satisfying hit than the cig a likes I have tried. It's working well for me when I'm out and about, but I make a beeline for my ego as soon as I get home, lol.

great explanation, I might like this for when I am out of the house even if not that often. does it give a cloud of vapor? not just a wisp like other cig-a-likes?

I does come with 2 batteries so you can be charging 1 while using the other. But I suspect it might be a little fiddly for her with filling the tanks and cleaning the attys. She's probably used to screwing on a carto and this is a bit different. I'm not familiar with any others, though.

None of the flavorings we inhale are intended for that purpose and are probably the unsafest part of the whole vaping experience. I'm not gonna do it....just saying.

You're such a buzzkill. :p (just kidding)

He was Mr. chatty tonight and kept me too distracted to be able to keep up with all the threads, and now I really should try to get some sleep.

When my hubby was still alive I called him my pet clam and wished he would talk more. Be careful what you wish for, this one rarely stops talking, especially at night.

On the tablet typing, not the easiest thing to do for a touch typist.

I like the Strawberry ones, I put two in the toaster a little while ago and forgot, you just reminded me.....now I have to retoast a little.

The tanks are a pain to fill without a needle tip, I don't have one so I'm using a needle and syringe which works ok but still a bit of a pain.

Yes she uses the pre filled cartomizers. It's easy for her to use. I will see when she comes to visit if she likes anything I have. I'm sure it will be a nice selection if I keep hanging around here lol.

Mine can get awfully chatty, too. Luckily I raised 7 kids and I am an expert at tuning out.

Goodnight and sweet dreams.
