I assure you I do not know everything. Very little anyway. Mty Zmax V@ has an option of RMS or the other one. RMS is supposed to keep the wattage constituent until the last drag. Now my CVI only has RMS. I think the Evic is RMS and I have the new SID that I bought cause it was VW and purple

Again I starting using VW to keep my
vape cool.
You want to set it to RMS for wattage. The wattage is a computation (of 3 things) that figures out the average volts so your
mod can adjust itself to whatever the resistance is (ohms) of your liquid delivery. That's only needed for mods that use pwm, or pulse because pulsing is variable.
The other setting that some mods have eliminated is unregulated power. Probably not something most people should have access to sine it requires the user to figure out the settings manually and understand ohms law.
A few mods don't use pulse and their power is constant, a flat line, so there's no need for RMS to figure out the average or wattage in order to adjust to the resistance (ohms) of whatever delivery they are using. Those are easy to meter the power because it's always the same.
What I don't know is how wattage is being used with those that have constant / regulated power. I had always heard that adding wattage (RMS) was redundant and unnecessary then. idk. I haven't read anything else yet.
But everything you have listed uses pwm and rms and probably the same chipset. Just like all hard drives use the same chipset no matter who the manufacturer is (the chinese floods last year proved that).
I have no idea how this applies to light bulbs and would love to understand watts with regulated power better.
