This is terrible. DH dad on Mother's Day, our Brother in law stage 4 lung cancer and no more treatment for him, my cousin on dialysis (she's my age) waiting for a kidney she will never get because of rare blood type, my neighbor's and best friend's funeral tomorrow, my son's grandma, and now Lori's Bill again. What the hell is going on in this world? And the USA has the best medical care in the world? That is BS. It's not fair and it's not right. This many at one time? And half of us in rediculous pain and they can't figure it out or do anything. Or even find a diagnosis for the other half of us. Go to this dr, have tests, go to that specialist and have more tests, go back to first dr and start again. BS! Oh, no insurance, we are not taking new patients. we don't take medicare, blah, blah, blah. Rant over. I am going to take a sleeping pill and not wake up until tomorrow morning so I can go to my 58yr old neighbor's funeral. This sucks!

My deepest sympathies

Just thought I'd check in tonight before hitting the sack and say "Hi!" :) My Boba's came today and I will be ordering another bottle next week, it's great. I could see this, Blue Ice from MBV and the "Create Your Own" that I did from MBV (Butterscotch, Virginia Fire Cured tobacco and Irish Cream all equal parts) being my liquids to use. Here's to hoping I don't vape myself sick tonight before bed lol.

Hang in there Shari, we're all here for ya and I'll be keeping you and your loved ones in my thoughts. I'm dealing with a bit of a rough road too.

I don't understand why when people are already struggling things always seem to just get worse. I made some poor choices (granted this is my fault) and bought a car that is a little more than I can probably afford, have credit card bill from community college expenses, and a hospital bill from last year I still have another year and a half to pay on. Money was pretty tight but I was getting by thankfully still living at home with my parents, I'm only 25 living at home with my parents. Couldn't find a job in my field of major with my Associate's degree. Developed a blood clot in my right leg late May or early June and we found out I have either an immune disorder (antiphospholipid syndrome) that makes me susceptible to blood clots or possibly Lupus. Recently I've had to go to using my credit card to pay for some of the bills, had to get new tires for my car another $800 that I didn't have and work decided that they'd cut my hours down to 35 hours a week instead of 40 and get $65/wk less than normal. Thankfully my parents have let me forgo paying rent and told me that quitting smoking will be my payment for now they also chipped in for a couple of the big medical bills. My Grandpa has been dealing with a major wound on his back from a cyst being removed and hit a bad spot a couple weeks back that has left him quite weak. My Dad has a lot of health issues but does not do anything to help take care of them and his eating habits are awful, tons of junk food and foods he shouldn't have being diabetic. It's as if instead of being an alcoholic he's a foodaholic. He has my Mom, brother and I very worried about him but he doesn't listen to any of the things we say to him and just gets mad.

Sorry for my post being a little rambling. Does feel good to get this out there

    Hello all, and goodnight.

Learning some things about my hypo through trial and error (good things). Too much to catch up on and ready for bed now.

Lori, prayers sent. And huge hugs.
    Shari, hang in there.
Dale, hope you can vape more now.
    Good job Queen!

Anyone else I missed, I missed not on purpose.

Hopefully y'all are around tomorrow for chattin' but this girl needs to go to sleep now.

Wow, with a little tweaking our stories could be the same! I hear you loud and clear, and if it makes you feel any better, I'm 43 so this stuff happens no matter how old/young you are. You just have a little more time to course-correct than some of us do! ;)

Do what you can, don't stress over stuff you have no control over (like I'm one to talk, being the control freak that I am, lol). Oh, and I think I recognize you from another thread...your blood clot jogged my memory. Either I just read it, or posted on your thread where you mentioned your health issue. I hope you're able to get through this with little to no permanent damage!

I love lime. I (mostly) hate throat hit. Every juice I have tried with noticeable lime taste (Couple Baja Blast type juices, mojito, key lime pie, even lime candy types) does bad bad beat my throat in stuff.

Is it possible to have lime AND no TH? Is there really just something about vaping citrus that means it has to be harsh on the throat (I'm not as big on other citrus fruit, but have tried a couple lemon and orange juices that also kick me on the throat but not as bad)?

I have noticed that really strong citrus flavors (lime, orange, etc) are super acidic, and some I would swear are suspended in an alcohol base. So, I would suggest the following:

1.) Cut with Straight VG, which should lessen the throat hit, and provide more vapor. The drawback here is it may mute the flavor too much or clog the atty.

2.) Cut with water. (Distilled I'm guessing.)

    3.) Combine 1 & 2 above.

Hopefully someone (like Lox) with more DIY experience will have some other suggestions for you.

I do have a question if anyone around is able to answer it though!

I dunno, just wondering for ideas since I do like the flavor of some of the lime-y juices I have and have tried, I just can't vape them often and it's annoying and I would like to see if lime I find tolerable is even possible.

ETA: The PG/VG in the ones I've tried varies, so while that may play in some, I am assuming that's not all there is to it.

I like the flavor of lime too. I noticed the other day how much my juice favs tend to resemble my yogurt favs. Anyway, this (below) popped into my head as I was reading your post. Idk if it works for you. My excuse is that it's late.
