still acting up, today it's on theright and pressing on nerve down to my knee, so it feels like knee is out too but its from my back

Ya think i'd get used to it and when I do start getting used to it, I get something new to add on, it's crazy! other than that I'm ok
I'm sorry to hear it's still troubling you dear :(
And no, you don't get "used" to it really; if you're like me after a couple of weeks of pain you get ... hummm, shall we say "irritable?"

It's funny, I don't know how to describe how I feel from the pain, I'm not sure it's irritable, more like baby wants to cry. Just frustrated because there isn't an easy fix, more surgery, I think not! LOL

Karen, has your lawyer given you anything you need to do for your hearing or is everything all set and you are just waiting. I hate the waiting. I hope your back gives you a little break soon. Sounds like you are in a bad spell.

I just got an envelope from the attorneys office today, will dive into what I need to do tomorrow, and send it back on Monday. Yes this is the longest it's ever been this bad, I have had severe muscle spasms for a long periods of time sometimes two months, but not this unrelenting back pain with the spasms. Not even when I had my surgery. I had a 8 hour back surgery so it was not a small fusion to begin with. Even the numbness in my feet is worse, the few areas that are left that have feeling are even worse. So weird.

On a brighter note, we have cooler weather!!!!!!!! It may be the source of my problems or contributing but I do so love it when it gets cooler here. Sunshine 60's at night, and mid 70's daytime for the next few days

Good morning everyone! Went to sleep at some ridiculous hour last night like 8:30 and slept til 9:00 a.m. Have a lot of kinks and pains from that; but I was starting to get sniffles and a sore throat yesterday so guess I'm coming down with something. Have been counting on vaping keeping me from getting sick; infusing the sinuses and lungs with antimicrobials from pg and vg. Well; so far it's worked. Maybe it's just my turn to catch a cold. Bummer.

Have the standard housework to do today. It's still cold out so the heat is on again. Have to stop picturing the electric bill and just picture frostbite on toes instead! That should turn it around in mental image land.

Hope you all have a fabulous weekend! I know there's a costume party planned for tonight; hope that goes well!

    It's beautiful Claudia!

Thank you. I am finding that since I am painting again that my mood is starting to improve. :)

    Hello everyone,

Just popping in and out. Got m'labs back, things are looking good, now I'm pushing the doc a little on how much thyroid to take, but so far not much resistance. One more dose increase (to 2 grains, = to 200 mcg of synthroid) and another set of labs in 6 weeks. My TSH has gone to 1 (target), and my FT3 and FT4 are in "normal" range but low. Doc was OK with the numbers, but I want them to be higher so she agreed to the increase. She's more on the conventional side of how much thyroid is OK--but since I'm still having a few issues (like still cold and hair falling out) she agreed to more.

We'll see how it goes in 6 weeks--I'm preparing to maybe have to fight with her a little if my FT3 doesn't improve. That's what causes hypo symptoms, not the TSH or FT4--plus it's the one that if too low, or low-ish for too long causes major health issues (heart and bones).

This time the adjustment is a bit rough...so I'm really tired in the evenings.

A bit too tired to comment or keep up with you all here, but I didn't want anyone to think I had ditched ya.

Hopefully next week I'll be all adjusted and ready to join in the discussion.

This is great news Alisa, looking forward to having you back on a regular basis. :)

Um, Just an FYI for whoever is interested, especially Karen:

I have been playing with a Vamo off and on here and there for a while now. I admit today is the first day I have been using it as my main vape all day. I was trying to empty it's tank of swedish fish. It was closest to empty and I didn't want to just dump anything I've considered worthy of filling a tank with, and I was out of open toppers. So yup. All day with the Vamo and swedish fish with an occasional trip to ego/Freak Show land.

I just succeeded. I refilled said tank with higher mg Freak Show, which was the whole intent. I then proceeded to vape it for a while. La de da, all is well in kittyn land. Until kittyn grabs a random ego to figure out what is in it. And goes... 'This is weak. Huh.' Check the other ready to go devices to verify if my mouth is messed up or what. Nope. Not at all. I have evidently just been converted to VW land. Crap.

(not really a 'crap' just a 'whoops, I like just being able to grab a different ready to go device rather than fiddle with things and now I am evidently SPOILED!' at least until tomorrow.)

Side note 1: I have not filled even my little ashtray today. Which is kinda awesome. I am saying that may just be because I have been intentionally vaping a LOT to empty that tank though. Weird motivations, right?

Side note 2: I am out of toppers because I sacrificed one to the male. I have not decided on his whatever yet, let alone figured out funding it, so it seemed I should be nice. As his main want was for at work so he didnt have to go freeze his .... off as much, I gave him a USB charger, one of the little bitty 650mah eGos and some Freak show. 3 days ago. he's promptly forgotten it at home for two of those days -.-
I even sacrificed my carrying cases to him! HMPH! He is now set on the 650 size because they're small. I need to get him to actually take the thing in enough days in a row to get annoyed, I think. (it was actually forgot not "forgot"--he's been running late and rushing out the door)

That is all for me for the past while that doesn't make me ragey.

I have been reading, just not much to say, not in anywhere near my happy place so been avoiding spewing my messes everywhere. Been happy to read about peoples successes in all areas :D

I discovered this when I got my itazte vv v3 and it really is a huge difference.

Hi Kittyn. I find your post interesting. I think you just experienced what I have been considering for a while. The equipment makes a big difference in the ability to get the most out of your liquids. And I think the satisfaction level of vaping. I think that there are people out there that like the same liquid at different temperatures. I have found that no matter the liquid, I tend to enjoy and more fully taste a juice at a higher voltage. Since I received my MVP2 yesterday I discovered that my 510 attys are 2.0ohms and not the 2.3 ohms that the vendor told me (and the 2.2 ohms that another person told me). I have been vaping at over 4 volts with them from the beginning. Anything under 4 volts and I do not seem to get enough umph! out of the vape. That puts me above what I would be able to get out of any standard regular ego battery using that same atty.

But I see a lot of the vendors selling kits that have standard ego batteries and pairing them with clearos that are 2.2 or 2.4 ohms. For me that would be an unsatisfying vape. I wonder if that is what is happening to a lot of new vapers. If you are not getting enough satisfaction out of the vape, you are not going to be able to drop the cigarettes. Maybe kits should be sold with 1.8 ohms clearos. Maybe that would be more satisfying. I am rambling.

I am happy that you had a good day with your Vamo. I just received my MVP2 and had my first full day playing with vaping according to watts. I am enjoying it and having fun with my discoveries. I have not used it in voltage mode to compare the vape on the same juices. I should get out a calculator and figure out what volts the wattages I enjoy are so I can see if there is a difference in how I vape on the spinners.

Has your hubby tried the Vamo yet? Maybe that is what will push him over the edge to vape. Or maybe wait until you can get another Vamo, so you do not lose yours to him. You know that is what will happen. Then you will end up being the one frustrated. Don't need that.

Innokin really does make a nice product, the itazte vv v3 is still my favorite, gives the best flavor, with the SID second. The SID is second because it is bigger and heavier and I have to think about hanging onto it so I don't drop it, one other thing is that the vv v3 appears to regulate its power a little better, I see the same performance for it set at whatever watts I'm using from the first puff after a charge until it's light turns yellow and I need to charge it again. The SID doesn't regulate quite as well and I see a performance drop and need to upp the watts a tiny bit before I need to put in a fresh battery. That said it is a small difference and I do like the SID, especially since I can replace just the batteries and if need be the part with the electronics for a small amount of money.

Lol, no, he things it looks to much like...ermmm... a BoB type device

He refuses to 'get' VV/VW when I explain it though, so I'll demo with it to him eventually. I've mentioned before I'm pretty sure he'll end up being a box mods person if he stays interested that far. So I think I'm safe on anything I like bigger than an ego till I break down and get myself something cute and boxy. (I'm still making googly eyes at the VTR)

Remember that the VTR is big and heavy, it weighs nearly a pound, that makes me hesitant. I have clippers (I groom my Poodles) that don't weigh that much and they are pretty big and heavy to me.

For the money aspect and the performance, from what I have read so far, get the MVP2. I just got mine yesterday and I am very happy with it. I have been reading every review on the VTR and it is a brand new item and has those kinks that need to be worked out. The MVP2 is a proven device. I wanted the VTR and now I am glad I got the MVP2 instead. Of course, this is just my opinion. Only disappointment is that I know the battery will eventually die like the egos and spinners. Other than that, I love it.

The non replaceable battery part is what makes me hesitant to get the MVP2, but I may or I may just get another vv v3 or two since it is my favorite, especially when I am going out.

Ya' know there's a mini 134 coming out too - I saw it listed in the coop planning pages (I can't quite imagine it). My fav little Sig Zmax, extentions and rings is over there too. So much stuff to spend money on. If only months were a couple of weeks shorter ... (with the same pay).

I like a 1.8 om on an ego too. I think you have a point there. I would have been much happier with my first ego's if I'd known that or if they had come with lower resistance atomizers. Kinda goofy.

It's still in the 90's. I'm really missing winter, or fall, or any other season but summer.

Hmmmmm a mini 134, now that sounds very very interesting. :)

We are having a quick taste of winter, but fall comes back next week and we will have a few days of low 70's. I do enjoy seasons, at least they way they are here, after 50 years in southern Cal where it was absolutely gorgeous in February and hot the rest of the year.

How about months? It seems that as soon as I get one under control or nearly under control, something else starts up, and yet it does really play on mood.

I hope it's a minor cold or just allergies. Every year when we have to turn the heat on my nose objects and I also get a slight sore throat, but it's just from the heater. Hopefully that is all it is for you too.

Good morning Dolores and everyone else. :) Sorry about the snow.

    Good morning, all!

I don't think the weather people know the difference between light rain and light SNOW, which is what it is doing outside right now. Oh well, at least it's too warm for it to stick around...yet.

Sucralose for me and be careful because if you use too much your liquid burns fast and tastes like crap. I'm using EZSweetz ordered a "free" sample only had to pay shipping. Comes in a tiny bottle and I've been using it for months. I like ethyl maltol too but it mutes flavors so I only use it when stuff tastes too sharp.

Oh hello all. Comma-less again at home; the girls had the heat up to 80 when I got here and boy was I ready to kill them!!!! I've had $$$$ rolling through my field of vision ever since I came in. Off to fix dinner and catch up; see you around!

Well, things could be worse! I've spent various parts of the last 3 days just getting the heat to work! Had to replace the pressure-reducer (which got the upstairs going), then one of the circulator pumps (for the downstairs zone). I love the smell of baking dust in the morning (er... early afternoon I guess!)

Finally killed the battery on the MVP2. Now recharging. It took about 27 hours and 635 puffs to do it. I am a happy camper. Now I want another one. Oh boy.

I am resisting trying the iclear16. I have an emotional attachment to my Evod and do not want it to get upset. And all those little wicky thingys in the iclear look like spider legs to me. Must be too close to Halloween and DH keeps watching all those horror movies.

Shari, I don't think you're missing anything. The Iclears were the first "modern" heads I tried, and while I like them a lot better than cartos, once I tried the BCC's I decided I'm not going back! (Will save the extra iclears for newbies.... They are a bit easier to fill, and you don't wind up accidentally unscrewing the tank bottom when you switch them!)

    Gee, Alisa,

Just when I thought I was getting a handle on the TLA's, now here's a whole bunch of new ones!!! I was kind of psyched to hear about FT3 and FT4 until I realized you weren't talking about new FastTech locations in the US.

Hope things continue to improve for you!
