Happy belated birthday jimnodaddy!

My age is 38 I started smoking at the age of 14 so its about time I quit smoking and start vaping! I smoked for 24 years that's 24 years too long nothing worked for me except vaping so far I haven't had but one slip up and the cig tasted so damn nasty I hurled all over mom and dad's patio! Now I wonder how I ever smoked in the first place! I know this thread was about age but I thought I would throw that in! LOL :D

hey its all good, adding stories in like this add depth to the thread and help enable conversation! i appreciate the stories!

To all the younger ones, who started smoking in their teens and changed to vapes in their 20s, GOOD FOR YOU!!!! :toast: . You're the ones who are going to put the analog companies out of business. It's your generation that they're afraid of. It's also your generation that will find a non-tobacco nicotine replacement, that will cut the ties the Feds have with tobacco regulation. I'm sure they'll find some way to regulate it, but you guys will out play them! :thumb:

I still find it slightly amusing I got the mother in law off ciglikes on to a provari with a RBA.

It's just cool. She is cool. There's a lifetime between us in terms of age, but she rocks that mod more than me.

I think "older" vapers have more clout than younger vapers in terms of credibility (my opinion). Age, wisdom, etc. She rocks that mod in public and I think it is great. Lost count how many smokers she's converted now, she just has a knack of making it look far better than I can :D

I feel it is both ways... Most parents who smoked have kids who smoke (that's how I picked up the habit). And if parents set the new example of vaping the kids might pick it up. I started because my little brother was doing it and my girlfriend in England was doing it when I visited. I enjoyed the flavors so decided to do it and haven't even looked back yet! So all in all I think its both generations who are the ones that can put Phillip Morris and other companies in the toilet!

My parents smoked, I began to smoke. They started vaping, then got me an ego kit for Christmas and I havnt looked back. Unfortunately they both went back to cigs, and now I'm working with them to get them back on vaping. I actually made a deal with my mom today, told her if she hands me about $75, ill hook her up, she's seems willing to comply!
