Yeah, I was reading about it some time ago but decided maybe it was too dangerous for me to try at the time. I too didn't wish to become a guinea pig
However, Vapor's thoughts about it and that Andy recommended it to Vapor changed my mind
I think it was 2 or so years ago it was first discussed
So for anyone who has tried Ekowool and Nextel, what are the differences? They look very similar to me.
Suppose I could answer that myself here, but that would take effort.

Good news n bad, I got the Nextel today (it sure does fray easy like everyone says). Apparently I got the non-kiln heated stuff cause it's not pure snow, white like it should be (right?). Here, have a look for yourself, I cut a piece n set it on the white counters for comparison:

Just sunning herself on the nice warm rocks (yesterday 108F, today 109F). A lil one, rattler, under four feet for sure.
It's official, summer's here n June is usually our hottest month, avg over the month. It's because our Monsoon starts around the Fourth of July n the humidity (when its here, it comes n goes during Monsoon) keeps the temps down in the 100's vs. the 110's+ we'll see this month.

Luckily, I had a maid come Friday. I'm a bit too lazy to do the good thorough cleaning myself and 45 hours a week is plenty of work for this old guy. I need some time to relax and play with my hobbies
