Mr. Applefr3ak,

I think I would like to purchase the Corrado in your avi.

Is it a G60 or SLC?

i thought that was a vw carado, or a scirocco, havent seen those in forever

After all that nonsensical brouhaha, I feel an urgent need to order my world. Gonna go clean some of my Zens, try new wicks, & wrap some new coils.

Hey, do I know how to party or what!?!?

thats how i get down rm

It's all about attitude. A lot of people in this thread have spent time getting to know one another and a lot of people know Mike personally. When people come into a community thread and throw around attitude, they're going to be met with attitude. That's just the way of the world. I help anyone I can that has a positive attitude and I refrain from interacting with those who have a negative attitude. The same can be said for several in this thread. This is a very caring, helpful, knowledgeable, and tight knit group. Those who complain that it's a cult or a bunch of fanatics should take a look in the mirror and realize that it's about attitude. If that's the way you view the situation, it's no wonder you have trouble fitting in... Just my two cents.

Right on Andy. Couldn't have said it better myself. I hope that by the time I'm caught up here, that we're a couple of posters light.

I might drive the iNissant Titan now, but I'm a VW nut at heart. They just don't make a real truck.

I've own a couple GTi's. Both VR6's and 8v's. Had an 88 Scirroco 16v that was a blast to drive. I wouldn't miss a Corrado. lol

For a friend, where can one get PRE-OXIDIZED wicks? (not just pre rolled)

Sorry if this is off topic

if you send me some mesh I will make some for you. I actually like doing it. weird huh  I would use some of my own but am waiting for mesh from across the pond. I just ordered some and hopefully it gets here before that does, as I sitll have some wicks to do for UV.

soooooooo.

looks like I missed a doozy today. That is what happens when you have two employees call in sick (again) and are slammed.

Not by any means going to rehash anything. I would like to bring up a couple of things.

Jason, you are doing a superb job both handling the customer service issues and also us as a group. For some reason, mike and his devices stir a lot of emotion in people and have ever since I can remember. I am not sure what makes him and his devices any different than the other high end stuff (in terms of the point stated not quality etc) but it has been this way for a while. I do not see this kind of behavior in other threads the same way I see it here and I have never been able to figure out why exactly. People point to lack of availability or lack of past communication, but that cannot tell the whole story. I can say personally I am on lists that I have been on far longer than any zenesis list with less action and less communication, and yet people on those do not get riled up as much as they do with mike. go figure.

I think there is a group here who will jump to defend mike because of our now long history together. We are somewhat like a family. As you all know, that comes with good and bad. We fight, make up, insult and apologize. We have been accused of being fanboys etc, and if I have to really be honest, that might be the case sometimes. This has not happened overnight. Many of us have spent a lot of time together both on here and also in person. A bond develops over time. It is called friendship. We can probably all be guilty of being a little cliquey sometimes, but do feel that we have all been excited about new people and have for the most part been very welcoming.

regarding my departed friend and to address crypto's point. I took something he said in the wrong way and stated in my first post that if that was the case, I apologized. I did that over and over both publicly and in private, which is what he asked for. In fact, the whole thing went private (once again at his request) at least for me. I feel 100% comfortable in the way I handled myself in private, but am not sure the same thing can be said for him. I tried to make things better, but nothing worked. I then just bowed out to respect the thread, jason and mike. I try to conduct myself in a courteous, and respectful manner, but I am a person and not a robot, and sometimes I fail in my efforts.

I want to thank all who came to my defense, and all those who felt insulted and belittled in this thread. I think often what people are trying to say and how it reads can be confused online. Someone told me recently that you should read all things online in a monotone voice to take inflection and tone out of the message to decipher what it really means. This might help.

shalom out (my new sign off :)) The ob. :)
