Roll it on a paperclip. I use the Jack Frost wick. Cut my mesh, fire both sides of the mesh with my torch until nicely oxidized, roll on the paperclip and insert wick AND paperclip into the wick hole. If it's too big, just keep rolling between your fingers until it fits. Leave the paperclip in the wick and hole while you wrap your coil. The paperclip gives you resistance so you don't squish/bend the wick.
I like the way the fatter wicks wick the juice, but many say they are both the same, but I tend to differ!

I had to go to a meeting so I haven't really been able to break it in yet. That will happen tonight. It's amazingly light compared to my Standard. I'll say again, it is classy looking.
It's working great. I have a tendency to chain vape and since switching to the 500 mesh, I've not had a dry hit one.
Ok, quick question so I don't have to go digging. What is the Lowes o-ring size that is the same as the #15? I just got the Sidewinder that I got in the classifieds and want to change them out while I'm setting it up.
A "fatty" wick is gonna be about 3x-4x bigger than a premade zen wick if you unroll it and measure. I'm with vapor, I never actually have measured one.
So whats the fix for misfiring on the ASH, having a bit of an issue at the moment.
Does it have a spring or magnets in the switch, if magnets take switch apart and clean it with iso alc
Have you tried cleaning the switch? Take the switch off, remove the screw and wipe all the parts down with No-Ox-Id or alcohol, put it back together and it should be better. Make sure your positive and negative screws are still tight on the leads? How's the battery?
