My 4 batts (18650s) are almost a year old now... I keep getting the paranoid feeling that I need to replace them, even though they are still working well... so far.............

I have batteries since almost when I started vaping.... going on two years.
Do they have a "shelf life" I don't know about?

Depends on the battery; but generally about 300 cycles (charge-discharge cycles, that is). YMMV, of course, depending on an almost infinite number of factors. :p

Basically, after a while, they just won't charge fully anymore and won't hold the charges they do get.

But the definition of "a while" can be wildly variable.

there is an aluminum polished zen mini up on MT. the owner says it's the only one in existence

And who is selling it this time?

From what I can recall there are 3 polished minis in existence.... I know one of them has been changing hands for quite a while.

Evening Folks :)

Unless you're a 24/7 Vapaholic like I am... I only use the red, IMR Highdrain Batts with the highest mAhs, number, rotate, volt test them and am currently on my 2nd, Pila Charger!!!

Bought 4 for 1 device. Rotate, rotate, rotate; in order of charging. And use a "smart" charger. :p :p :p

But, yeah, they are getting long in the tooth... time to get 4 more, I think. :)

Brian was but he will be trading his black for a red or sell his black when he gets a red....and I know this because I am #73 on the list of peeps who has to pass on it before I get dibs to buy!

(blue cut)...

once I get my hands on a red one, I'll either be trading it for a black or gunmetal grey or selling it when I get a 2nd one...gotta have back ups ;) either way, there's a list of 4 that have first dibs on mine when it's time ;)..there's a couple other blue dripshields that will be included when it's time as well...
