Bought 4 for 1 device. Rotate, rotate, rotate; in order of charging. And use a "smart" charger.
But, yeah, they are getting long in the tooth... time to get 4 more, I think.

Depends on the battery; but generally about 300 cycles (charge-discharge cycles, that is). YMMV, of course, depending on an almost infinite number of factors.
Basically, after a while, they just won't charge fully anymore and won't hold the charges they do get.
But the definition of "a while" can be wildly variable.

From what I can recall there are 3 polished minis in existence.... I know one of them has been changing hands for quite a while.

I only use the red, IMR Highdrain Batts with the highest mAhs, number, rotate, volt test them and am currently on my 2nd, Pila Charger!!!
