HR, you might try the Kentucky Cherrywood from Vermillion River. I prefer the Kentucky Peachwood myself, but the Cherrywood is pretty good.
I tried one on a SW in Chicago. Amazing! Needless to say, mine arrived a few days ago
Evening all. Just catching up.

What is a "hot wrap"?
Oh, that. What you do is attach the wire to the top post, with the coil installed. Hold the button and hold the wire. It's kind of a race. It's really tingly, and then it get really hot, and you have to wrap the coil without letting go.
You should hole the end of the wick with something metal like forceps so you don't burn your fingers.
hehe I remember those days... it kills my dad when I haul in fish after fish when we go out now, when he hauls in one or 2 lol. he's a live bait or spinners user, and I bring out one o' my old flyrodsthere's nothing like scooping water with a net, uncovering rocks and what not to figure out what the trout are biting on, when there's no hatch at the time... when I don't have the right fly, I'll tie one right at the stream. for me it's like bowhunting, it's the 'chase', the challenge.. stalking and bagging the quarry, only keeping what I will consume, and throw everything else back. any other time, I'll bring a lawn chair with some bait, cast out a couple of lines and kick back for those lazy days, not worrying one whit if I catch a single thing. it's all about getting out away from ALL public and the masses, enjoying the scenery, weather and nature, just relaxing in the outdoors...
