I got a mini tank for the Zen Carto Hybrid. Nice little addition that improves the configurations you can run with.

Can anyone tell me a simple fix to fix the battery rattle? I'm a bit OCD and I guess I got some lame batteries :p. I tried throwing a spacer in between the screw and the top cap, but that didn't seem to do it.

To be completely honest i don't think there is a simple fix to the rattle, it is put in by design for a couple reasons but i am sure there will be lots of suggestions including the old favorites of "don't shake it", and "Rattle, i don't hear a rattle", then there's my favorite of "its a musical Vape!!" oh an i cant forget the "don't worry about it, Just Vape It!!" With those out of the way One good idea i heard was to put a couple o-rings around the battery to tighten it up inside and it will help with the rattle.

I know i have just babbled and probably offended someone but hey, im just offering my :2c: and hope it helped!

hey everyone, im kinda at the crossroads on were im going to go with my vaping. I almost always use cartos. ive tried a cheap aga-t clone thing, didn't like that taste with stainless mess. vivi's, all that stuff. so I had to get some more cartos and ikv was out so I got some new boge f16s. don't like them. so it back to fighting the carto's, losing juice and all that fun stuff. so I took a break and vaped on my protank with some Nextel in it and its great. 1/32 Nextel 5 wrap with 32awg kantha, on the bam kicked and the kick set in the middle. so Im wondering how well Nextel would work with a genesis atty. I would think much better due to the air chamber up top and just how they work. so im lost on wich direction to go here.

so I was thinking

A: I could stick with the game plan and get the 18650 z2 carto setup. stick with ikenvape cartos. wich will stay at home and have my cheapo tank mod setup when I go out and about. my questions are is 200 worth this dedicated system. I know it should vape better, but I mostly use ikv 801 and there great as is.

B: maybe go with a z-atty-u for my bam. im comfortable with 1.6 ohms, but don't like going super low. I also like using the kick, so I can regulate watts and the extra safety. this device also stays home.

C: get a rsst. heard good things. I know its not the quality of the z-atty, but could get pretty close and save some money and maybe get the carto setup later.

any thought or suggestions would be welcome. im really curious how Nextel works in a geny type atty. maybe go that route. if I get the z atty u I could probably get a better vape for less money then getting the whole carto setup. use that for at home and a 801 cheap setup for the road.

thanks everyone, any pics of a bam with a z atty on it

From where? And is it better then ceramic wicks? Those stink :( keep going back to my trusted rolled and oxidized 400x400 wicks :)

I haven't tried the ceramic wick, but the Nextel is great. I put some in a protank and its just awesome. im getting more nick with the Nextel compared to the cartos and silica type wicks.
I got my Nextel from sngvapor for 7$ a foot. sure you could find it cheaper, but they pre heat treat it. wich is good

Which one? The 116 or 132? 116 out of stock but is this going to replace my SS wick? If so how do I wrap it without the tension?

the 1/32. its hollow inside so I used a stainless steel rod in the middle and wraped like that. you could use a tooth pick or something like that. just carefully slide it inside the wick and wrap. I wrapped mine pretty loosely, were I could adjust the coils but still touching the Nextel. when done pull out the toothpick. I would torch the wick first, its seemed to help stiffen it up a bit. plus it looking really cool when you torch this stuff

if you wanted you could maybe do a thin ss mesh wrap and slide it inside the Nextel and keep it there. that would keep everything stiff

ok...so been vaping Killer 705 in my carto for a couple days now...my word so good

Aaron, I just got done setting up my Killer in my carto tank & I agree with you....it rocks!! :D Took me a few trys to get it set up to where it didn't flood, but actually was easier then I thought it would be.

Question tho....will it leak at all if laid on it's side or if it tips over?
