doh...yes..."H"....thank you! I will try again and only use the highbridge attys.

kincachoo...love your avatar!! Is that actually your pet?

EDIT/UPDATE
right....so....uhm....that thing about lining up the atty with the Hcut or the hole....apparently I had it backwards.
trimming off 2mm of the staw..put it on a highbridge....works like a freakin' charm!! I've been outside planting a vegie garden and so forth and just had the e-cig in a side cargo pant pocket...hasn't leaked a drop and vaping like crazy. And has not flooded the atty either even with being upside down, sideways and whatever. Thanks Scotty!

Glad you got it to work finally. I like the H cut better, maybe cause I got it to work right out of the envelope :) I still have not figured out the deal with the circle ones. I am not giving up though.

Yes, she is a kinkajou, she was my pet for about 9 yrs. I found her a better person to live with. She is educating people about the rain forest now and getting a lot more attention then I could give her with my crazy house the way it is now.
What is your avatar an ant eater?

but be warned...once you've seen them you'll never be the same!

ps....hope your well stocked...you just got my endorcement over at the "burning carto" thread....as far as I'm concerned...this beats the heck outta cartomizers! Don't they make a mega 510 cartridge? Will these ZFM's fit those?

I'm sure Scotty will chime in but I think the circle ones are more for pure VG juice because it is so thick.

that's okay...now we are even :) I read your post about properly aligning the ZFM with the atty...and my first thought was....I AM darnit!!!! Then after a couple more failures I had a brilliant deduction....oh...wait...maybe I'm NOT!

Glad you found a good home for your little friend. Animals like that definately need special care and special homes. I'm glad someone is willing to help them...it's all I can do to deal with two spoiled rotten Collies!

I ordered a full set and have yet to get any of them to work. I'm assuming it's something I am doing wrong since everyone seems so happy with them. So would appreciate any help since I love the concept. I have both high bridge and low bride attys and it doesn't matter rather I use the X or the hole....the little yellow tab sticks to the atty and then the juice runs out. Help me...I'm inept! :)

I kept having this happen to me too and I finally realized it was because I was twisting the cart on and off the atty. Not sure if you're doing that but once I started popping it straight on and off it didn't stick anymore lol.

naw....I figured out the twiting part right away...I was just positioning the atty 180degrees the wrong way. But thanks for the tip! It will probably help someone else. :)

doh! oh yeah....I wanted to mention that things are still working fine. I switched attys and carts and just like Scotty said...if it isn't working trim a tiny bit off the staw...like 1 or 2 mm...this is making my juice taste so good I'm ALMOST tempted to give 5V a try.

Scotty just got the 510 kit in. All I can say is WOW!!! I'm never going back to any type of filler again. I'm gonna order some more plugs in a few weeks, so keep on the look out.. By the way, thanks for the extra plug. You gotta try the ZFM with some fried apple from madvapes. I'm in heaven.....

Probably. :) <anteater humor...sorry>

I had the same problem and it IS frustrating. If someone else doesn't do it I'll try making a graphic for this...but in the mean time....absolutely NOT being sarcastic...whatever your doing now as far as the way you are positioning the cart/Hcut/atty....do it the other way. In other words rotate the cart so the H cut sits 180degrees differently the the way you have been doing it.

Also...when you say regular atty that could mean different things. So if you turn the cart a different way and that doesn't work then try trimming 1 to 2 mm off the staw. Those are the two things that worked for me and I have been very happy with these. If you can tell exactly what brand of atty your using that would help. I was trying to use short bridge attys and they just won't work. Hope this helps...

How are you guys filling these things? I can't seem to get it right. I am thinking about having my nurse wife bring home a syringe and needle, but that sucks to carry around with me. Getting stabbed through my pocket all day, plus I look like an addict or somethin.

I always keep a toothpick with me, even half a toothpick or smaller works too. I stick the pointed end inside the "H" cut about 1/4" and pry out the plug and it stays right on the toothpick. I then drip my juice in until it's full, then carefully line up the plug (with the toothpick still in it) and once in place I put a fingertip over the plug to hold it, remove the toothpick and press the plug in place with my finger.

This is the easiest method I've found that works for me anyway.

I don't like to keep syringes with needles around because I have a 3 yr old. So I have only bottle tips. All of my bottles are kid proof so I just use them to drip anything I have.
I was using a dental pick to hold the slit open while I dripped it yesterday, not the greatest thing especially with 2 hands and not 3 but it worked . Then , I was in the car for like 12 hours today and forgot my dental pick at home. I used a bent paperclip to pop it out and refill and stick it back in. Like Short stuff explained with the toothpick. out of 4 or 5 refills I leaked once and I think that is because I have used the first h cut one so much now it is getting a little floppy, could have been user error though. I am gonna try it again tomorrow and see if it is better.

kinkachoo I too have noticed that after a few days (more or less) that they do seem to get a little floppy as well. That's when I'll take it out, wipe it off and give it a few days off to dry up a bit while I use another one. This seems to have worked for me too.

:thumb:

Yes keep them in rotation... a dry out time will help restore them.

as far as filling the carts i just use my pinky nail to get it out..

I've been using a very similiar mod to this for a long long time.!! I use the clear silicone gromit from a V4L carto trim it to fit my carts and BAM. I've been using this for almost a year now in my 801/901/510 and if your really good you can slice them in halves then trim then to fit, no need for a straw I find too.!!
