I just tried the ZFM, and to say the least, I'm impressed. BTW, I have prepared the carts myself rather than buying it from Scotty's shop. They're pretty darn easy to make, but at some point I'm planning to buy some plugs from him just to support him.

I have been using the same cart the whole day without having to refill the cart, what else is there to say, other than THANK YOU SCOTTY!

Can someone direct me to a link for the shop to buy one of these? I would make one myself, but I would rather support the creator of this. ;)

edit: Nevermind, lol. I just need to read better I guess. Anyways, I have the 901 and I didn't see anything about that on the web page. How long til those are up? I was recommended here by another forum going friend.

Just got mine today. Filled a cart, capped it with the H-cut plug, popped it into my eGo, and have been good for an hour to an hour and a half of mostly steady vaping per refill. It's an enormous improvement over the 510 carts with filler material, either stock or teabag. My standard 510 carts took 4 to 5 drops to top off, and never seemed to wick efficiently or consistently for any reasonable length of time. The ZFM fills with 10 drops and vapes remarkably well until the cart is dry. No leaks, no drowned atomizer so far.

This cleverly simple cart mod, used with my new Janty eGo, will assuage my 510 frustrations for a while. Twenty bucks well spent. Kudos to Scottyballs.

All I can say is--THANK YOU SCOTTY!!

I'm new to this whole world, and I've been vaping on KR8 cartos pretty exclusively. Ordered a Provape mod with a 901 atty to try and explore the wonderful world of juice, and it never really worked, ya know? I tried the PTB, the foam, and just about everything else--too much fiddling for me; so I've been direct dripping. Lots of flavor, clouds of vapor--but two drops doesn't last forever.
Got my order of ZFM's today and whoa!!! It works!!!
So this is what vaping is, huh?

I started reading this thread, got to about page 49 and got up and walked around the house picking up parts.

I use mostly 901 stuff so I got a prefilled cart that came with a kit checked the caps but they were way too flimsy. I had an old njoy that I bought on an emergency weekend when I ran out of 901 attys. The njoy carts have a silicon plug in the end of them. Cut it out, shaped to fit the 901 tip, used a mechanical pencil to pop enough holes in it to make one big hole. Trimmed a straw, filled the cart and the dang thing worked by page 62.

Amazing mod, I'm tickled pink and my wife is going to be ecstatic. Thanks much!

wow...just got h-cut plugs and using it on my janty ego.
love them . question to scotty i going to go where it 90 + and
want to know if these will melt? or am i ok?

I don't think the ZFM plugs will melt. I've been using the ZFM H-cut plugs in my eGo exclusively now for almost a week. I find that after 4 or 5 refills the slits that make up the H cut actually tear, becoming larger, resulting in some leakage and atty flooding. I ordered more H-cut plugs not seeing on the site how many I would get (the site picture shows a pile of them) and received only ten. This means I'd be ordering these plugs on a regular basis. At twelve bucks a pop, this is not acceptable.

What I'm trying now is the ZFM plug with a hole, putting a small plug of standard filler material beneath it to mitigate the possibility of leakage which I experienced trying just the hole plug alone. I fill the cart up to the top of the straw, push a small wad of standard filler material into the top of the straw which sops up juice without displacing any of it, then press the ZFM hole plug into the top with a toothpick. So far this is working well. All juice is vaped, and the filler material wicks almost dry. If this method allows me to use the same plug for a very long time, I will continue to be satisfied with the ZFM concept.

Tearing should not be a issue. Ive been using the same plug for weeks with who knows how many refills.. the cuts might have been kinda close to the edge of the plug.. PM me your addy and Ill get some more out to you..

and yes its 10 plugs in a pack it says that in the description... there $12 cause I cut each one buy hand and they take time to make.. Im in talks with a gasket manifactuer to have them mass produced... wich should lower the price quite a bit.. but it will be a ways off cause its going to require tooling..
