Hey everyone, I’ve been vaping on and off for a while and I need some advice.

I’ve had a GeekVape L200 (Aegis Legend 2) for over a year now. I stopped vaping for about 4 months because it got expensive with cigarettes too, but now I’m back on a budget so I started vaping again since it’s cheaper.

For batteries I’ve been using some cells that say “FIRE HAZARD! NOT FOR VAPE! NEVER INSTALL, CARRY OR HANDLE!” — I actually just saw the text and I also bought them from a local vape shop. So far I haven't had a problem with the batteries.

For coils I’ve been running dual Z coils 0.25Ω at 47–55W, also from the local shop. They don’t last me long — usually less than 700–800 puffs before taste gets bad. The shop guy told me they’re best for flavour but I’m not sure.

***Review***

I received this tank and a box of the new V coils as well as a box of the Valyrian 3 coils on Thursday and have been using it ever since. I have a couple of issues with it however. Chief among them is that the spring seems to be a little wobbly. Not too much that it'll break if you look at it wrong, but if you drop the tank while the top is open, good luck cause it'll possibly break. Another gripe is that the tank protector comes preinstalled on the spare glass and does ***NOT*** seem to be removable, thus if you want to protect the glass, you've gotta use the spare glass as I don't think it fits the larger preinstalled glass. And finally my last gripe is the drip tip. The included tip ***is your only option*** as it's not quite an 810, but not a 510 either so you can't use any spare tips you have laying around which is kind of odd. The performance and function of the tank, in my opinion far outshine the negatives of the tank. The preinstalled.18ohm V-Coil is probably the single best coil I've ever used. The clouds are phenomenal, taste is that of an RDA, and it's not thirsty for being such a big tank with a big coil. Am I not happy with the fact it's a twist to remove coil? Yes, but the coil flavor makes up for that. Honestly, the thing never leaks, deapite being a bottom AFC tank. It also never has condensation build up on the bottom either which is also awesome. Honestly, I prefer the V-COIL over the Valyrian 3 coils as the flavor and clouds are more muted in the Valyrian 3 coils vs the new V-Coil. Overall i give this tank a 8/10.

***Verdict***

I'm honestly surprised at how well this tank functions despite its few drawbacks. It's beautful and it works better than intended. It's on par or better than an RDA imo.

as most of us know, a 'setup' generally has a life expectancy. A build or factory coil in an atomizer might last for 'x' amount of tank fulls of juice before ether the flavor drops off and/or the vapor output drops noticeably.

This 'drop' is where many of us will open our atomizer up and ether swap out our factory coil or pull/refresh our coil before continuing. As most of us have observed, after vaping 'x' amount of juice (even unflavored!) our coils will get 'gunked up' thereby reducing flavor and how effective it is in transferring heat & vaporizing juice.

This 'droop' in performance might encourage some users to swap/rebuild coils weekly/daily or even multiple times a day.

But what if the 'droop' is not the coils fault? What about the 'U-turn'?

Huh???

Almost ALL atomizers have a juice 'u-turn' where the juice goes from the tank to the wick - down, across & then back up to the wick. If/when one or both sides of the wick ends develop an air pocket, it will stop 'wicking' juice from the tank. That 'air pocket' generally might reside in the 'u-turn' portion of your tank/atomizer.
When the user opens up their atomizer to inspect the coil, the wick MIGHT look damp/wet however it was not performing. In many cases a inexperienced user will 'pull the build' or at least refresh it to fix the problem.

However in many cases all that is needed is to re-prime the wick+coil ensuring that enough puddle of juice on both ends of the wick to re-create the juice connection between the wick through the u-turn to the tank full of juice.

You might be surprised how many 'builds' I've saved while out in the wild (unable to rework or rebuild) while vaping.

Many/most of my builds last weeks if not MONTHS of daily use. While YES eventually flavor might fall off where a rework or rebuild is needed however in most cases all that is needed is a re-prime.

Hey all. Been a long time since I've been on here but found a ton of gear in storage I need to get rid of.

New OG 2020 Box never used. 3 2020 SXK billets, 2 of which are Evolv DNA 60. 2 Bantom Boxes (Baby Billets). SXK Supbox. Like 4 of each, VapeSnails, Vapeshells, Haku Xetas, Exocets. Loads of extra glasses, gaskets etc. custom doors for each. 16 18350s, 12 of which are new for the Bantoms.
