I have only used oral CBD before (and was quite impressed... joint pain gone) Now I got some (cheap) CBD e-liquid and liked it (kinda weak but that's OK... it's what i want to try and was cheap) The problem is, I tried this in a little pod I have (low power, auto draw) I only used it for a couple days (just in the evenings... less than 8 draws each time) Third day and my little pod coil is completely clogged. Sure, it's a wimpy pod but I have had good results with regular nic e-liquid before. I want to try this on other devices (pods and regular MTL tanks with drop-in coils) I really don't have lots of extra coils to waste so don't want to clog another coil. It is specifically labelled as "e-liquid". I also have a few full blown DL tanks I could try... would that help? I might just go back to oral drops (worked great) but vaping does seem to be a efficient way to do this. Last resort... just use this as oral drops? I don't want to buy another device (that would be the "right way" to do this)

I joined ECF back in August of 2017. I was sixty-five years old and had been smoking 25-30 cigarettes a day for 40+ years. I began vaping at the same time win the hope I could at least cut down. I dual used for months, continually cutting back on cigarettes. I smoked my last cigarette on May 11, 2018 - I am coming up on my three year anniversary. When I began, I vaped 24mg nicotine. Now I alternate between 3mg and zero nic.

Given how incredibly positive vaping has been for me, I am in shock at recent events. I was down to two working mods. I have ordered four mods, some tanks and a bunch of coils. I am still able to buy some eliquids where I live - but many of my favorites from Halo have been discontinued. I still have some outstanding hardware orders that I hope get delivered.

The treatment of vaping in the media has been a one sided disgrace, and propaganda works. Over the years when I have mentioned to people that I quit by vaping, they respond, ‘so you quit smoking by picking up a habit that is even more dangerous’.

I am set for at least a year. Fortunately I have kicked my addiction to nicotine - I recently vaped zero nic for a month. If I was just starting out, it would truly be panic time, and I would go back to cigarettes for sure. I suspect that many will do just that. Happy I started when I did.

My favorite juice, Jon Wayne by Uncle Junk's, is no more. It's really a problem because it's the only vape juice I like.

So I've decided to start DIY...again.

I vaped Jon Wayne at 3mg. I'm reasonably certain that it was 70VG, 30PG.

So I have been mixing batches of RY4 Double (a poor but passable substitute) with the same Nic/VG/PG, and vaping it on the same hardware and the same wattage.

But it's harsh on my throat in a way that Jon Wayne never was.

Everything I have read about reducing the harshness says mix more VG, or lower the Nic, or vape at a lower wattage.

But it seems clear to me that Jon Wayne had something else going on that made it smoother.

Any tips?
