hey guys just joined today was browsing these forums looking for a couple answers so I decided to make an account. I've been vaping for 5 years. smoked for 13 and feel better than ever. I really love RTAs right now. Went through a squonking phase and dripping but I have lost alot of interest in RDAs as they are just not practical enough for me. right now I'm either vaping on an OFRF gear RTA on my geek vape aegis 21700. also got a wotofo serpent SMM edition sitting on top of a single 18650 mod. my other Rta is the serpent elevate with the top airflow, which I really like as I don't get any drips out the bottom, right now it is sitting on top of my reauleux rx200 V1, was black but now is zinc gray hahah. and last but not least i am rocking a geek vape zeus dual coil version, but only using a single coil (my fav) on top of a ThinkVape Finder DNA 75, parallel 18650s which is great becasue i barely go over 65 watts.

Now my main reason for visiting this site was to get some information. I just got my first mech mod and I am noticing my battery is got a bit of rattle is there any way to adjust the switch to make it a bit deeper or some other way of fixing this......anyways if you can help i appreciate it but i mainly just wanted to say hello to everybody, and i hope you all are doing well eh

I just received a new Vaperz Cloud vcp, aka piglet, and I tried it out yesterday and I couldn't get it to work. I put the batteries in a series configuration according to the markings on the battery cover, I tried different sets of batteries, which work in other mods. I tried a couple of different RTA/RDA, which work on other mods. When I push the fire button, I get no response. I've emailed the vendor, but haven't yet heard back from them. Any suggestions?

I posted a thread a few days back about being new two rdas, I want to thank everybody for your help, I got it up and running and everything is perfect with a one coil build. Putting out more than enough Vape. Now I just want to find me an RTA. I'm liking the geek Vape RTA. I found it at a really good price, let me know what you all think is a good RTA, keeping low price in mind. Thanks everyone.

Got off cigarettes in 2011 ( thanks for Vaping) and Vap free for little a year.
I do feel better overall and the urges for Nic have pretty much left me. I must say
I don't think I would ever got off of cigarettes if not for the vaping. Not trying to tell
anyone how to live their lives just giving a update on mine.

I know that this is a sub ohm tank but I put it in the rebuildable section cuz I'm not really interested to know how it works as a sub ohm. What I want to know is if anyone has used the rebuildable sub ohm style coil. I have always wanted a device that does that and there are a couple of them coming out but only this one is out in the US right this minute. I have a coil master kit to try to rebuild PNP coils but honestly the coils are so flimsy and the task is so difficult that I'm really not seeing myself doing it. And it's primarily because the top part of the coil has to be pounded on and I just can't manage it. With this it's screw on. The whole thing together is kind of pricey just to try out this one feature it ends up being like $60 for everything I would need.

One of the big things I'm looking at is that the coil seems bigger than a PNP coil so that means the mesh would probably be stronger and maybe could be reused. If anyone has experience with this please let me know your experience

Hi so I’m not looking to replace MTL at all but I actually fancy trying out a Sub ohm tank mainly for when I’m having a drink at home and maybe for a fast shot of nicotine also. I also have a spare high power mod that I’m not using so I in,y need a tank. I have only MTL vaped in my hole vaping life so I have no clue on the current technology on DL tanks.


I’ve noticed from brief searching hat a lot of sub ohm tanks now use mesh which appears to be a non rebuild coil? What are the differences between mesh and diy rebuilddeble coils in regards to sub ohm vaping. Going of initial thoughts I think I’d prefer a sub ohm tank that I can build the coil or coils my self as this is what I’ve always done on my MTL tanks and I’ve always got spare wire.


Any good recommendations for me? It’s not going to be a everyday tank for me so size etc is not going to be a problem. One worry I have with factory made mesh style coils is the worry they will eventually stop getting made rendering the tank useless as I tend to keep a tank I get on with for years,also the price of pre made coils comparing to self made wire coils.


Any advice will be appreciated!

I am using a Zeus X Mesh rebuildable. I have noticed every now and then I get dry hits. After getting a dry hit, I would open my tank to have a look at the wick, when firing and closing the tank again the dry hit is gone for a couple of "pulls''. what am I doing wrong?

I will tell my story by looking at the reviews, reviews, happily bought the new product) But as it turned out, the new product even at the moment with the latest firmware 1.01 has at least 2 problems:
1) When the screen is flipped, the "+" and "-" buttons do not change places, and when the screen is upside down it is inconvenient to use the mod, a kind of "raw" problem, I have not seen this since 2014, and then the manufacturer released a new firmware in a week where it was not.
2) This is some kind of strange thermal control mode. I had Vaporesso Lux and it worked great in this mode. Well, I thought what was new, it already knows how to do it, but no. They came up with Smart TK - where even if it recognizes your spiral, then first there is a "blow" for all 80 watts, and then it decreases, but no matter what temperature you set the steam is very hot. And they broke the manual mode, so I take the atomizer that I just adjusted to the DNA (there I see everything on the computer), and I transfer these settings to this device and get practically nothing, the steam is so discharged that I have a feeling that the mod works in 5 watt mode. Neither the TCR adjustment nor the temperature have any effect.

I talked with those. the support of this manufacturer and in 2 months they did not even fix the button problem ...
