Hey guys. This time let's look at the iStick Kiya Kit by Eleaf, it is an ideal device for MTL or RDL vaping. Here we go!

Eleaf iStick Kiya Kit consists of the iStick Kiya Mod and the GS Juni Tank. Designed to be ultra-portable, the mod measures 35.5mm x 25.8mm x 57.2mm and looks modern with round corners and beautiful lines. However, the miniature size limits the output to 50W, but the minimum resistance capability is very low at 0.05ohm, so you will be able to use pretty much any low wattage atomizer in the marketplace today.

Powering the iStick Kiya is a 1600mAh internal battery that will allow for long vaping times. The cell is recharged by plugging the unit into any wall outlet with a USB cable. The charging process concludes very fast since the system utilizes a 2A current and a temperature protection system ensures it's safe. The USB port is also used to update the mod in case Eleaf releases new firmware. With available modes that include power, temperature control (Ni, Ti, SS, TCR), and bypass, this mod is quite versatile. Now, lack of grip on the airflow ring means I find myself having to literally unscrew the atty from the mod when I want to adjust my airflow. When fully open, 2 x 5mm slots provide a good restricted lung hit, along with the needlepoint DL airflow holes, which can be closed off until just one of three is visible, providing one of the nicest restricted MTL hits you could possibly ask for. The Juni has a 2ml capacity, with ELeaf branding on the glass, a thin SS top cap with a removable drip tip that's the right thickness for either an MTL or a restricted lung hit.

So I got some great super clearance deals on some dual coil RTAs but I'm a single coil kinda vaper.

My thought was that surely I could buy some little blocks of food grade silicone to whittle down so I could make plugs to plug up the juice ports, air ports and take up air space on the side of the RTA chamber I won't be coiling and wicking. To do this I would need extruded blocks or sticks of silicone about 2 inches thick.

I thought this would be easy to find, but I'm at a loss. I tried ebay then google but no one sells little blocks or sticks of extruded silicone.

But maybe I'm using the wrong keywords?

Anyone know where I can find something like this?

EDITED TO ADD: I am open to other ideas. I'm not set on the idea of using silicone. It's the only thing I can think of that would work well enough to seal up air and juice ports as well as to block the air space in the chamber where the second coil will not be installed. But I am keeping an open mind.

Any comments on Delta 8 cartridges? I've only briefly browse 2 of the sites on this results page.

I created an account because I found this website while searching for "blu classic tobacco comparison".

Today I went on Blu's website to order like I've done every 2-3 weeks for years and now they only carry 4 flavors of the liquipods. They no longer carry Classic Tobacco. I was going to use my reward points to try the two tobacco flavors they now offer but their website isn't working.

First of all i want to thank @Innokin_timmy for sending me a second Innokin Sceptre.
I am proud to announce that my nurse friend (the one i gave the first Sceptre to) has quit cigarettes altogether.

She did struggle a bit with anxiety but that is because i gave her some of my juice and i only vape 3mg nic,i took her to the store and got her 12mg and she is doing ok so far.

Back to the review:

Got the package delivered this morning,along with the sceptre i was sent two more little boxes with coils:

To be honest I'm not a big fan of pods.
Started vaping with a pod system but quickly moved to rebuildables but i got to say I'm really impressed with this little device.

Do not be fooled by it's small size,it really does feel like a sturdy and durable little pod.

Packaging was well done and you will find yourself vaping in no time.
The pod itself comes already with a coil in and you get an extra one in the accessory side of the box.

I did have to go thru the instructions to see how to change the coil,figure out the light system and the meaning of the green/purple light.
Instructions were well written so after a quick read i was ready to get started on this ''little killer''.

I primed the coil then proceeded to fill it up so it would soak while it was charging.

Once charged i proceeded to test drive it,used the pre-installed 1.2ohm coil and i gotta say i was impressed.
Skipped MTL and i put it in RDL,not really a MTL vaper.

Decent cloud and a nice hit,enjoyed it so much i kinda left my usual mod/atty combo on the side and vaped this all morning,didn't really realize i wasn't using my current setup.

The only 2 caveats i found with the device is what @hittman mentioned in his review,direct quote from him:

''I felt like the button press got a higher output and did also notice a slight difference between the normal and boost modes but not a huge difference''

Second one was the button placement,i guess it is something you need to get use to but for me it does feel a bit weird.
I would have loved it if the drip tip would have had some sort of twisting mechanism so i could rotate it,since it has a ''flat'' tip that would have made it less awkward.

Apart from those two little details i kinda loved this little device,looks small but once you have it in your hand you realize how durable,sturdy and well crafted it really is.

If i were a pod system user i would most definitely recommend this device to a pod user.

Again i must thank @Innokin_timmy , first of all for winning the first Sceptre,and second for sending me a second one when i gave mine away to my nurse friend.

She has successfully quit smoking cigarettes for now so in a way you actually made her life and health much better...and that is no small feat.

A Premarket Tobacco Product Application (PMTA) can be submitted by any person for any new tobacco product seeking an FDA marketing order, under section 910(b) of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic (FD&C) Act. A PMTA must provide scientific data that demonstrates a product is appropriate for the protection of public health. In order to reach such a decision and to authorize marketing, FDA considers, among other things:

• Risks and benefits to the population as a whole, including people who would use the proposed new tobacco product as well as nonusers;
• Whether people who currently use any tobacco product would be more or less likely to stop using such products if the proposed new tobacco product were available;
• Whether people who currently do not use any tobacco products would be more or less likely to begin using tobacco products if the new product were available; and
• The methods, facilities, and controls used to manufacture, process, and pack the new tobacco product.

APMTA includes：

• Full reports of all information published or known to, or which should reasonably be known to, the applicant concerning investigations which have been made to show the health risks of such tobacco product and whether such tobacco product presents less risk than other tobacco products.
• Full statement of the components, ingredients, additives, and properties, and of the principle or principles of operation.
• Full description of the methods used in, and the facilities and controls used for, the manufacture, processing, and when relevant, packing and installation.
• An identifying reference to any tobacco product standard, if applicable.

The Tobacco Control Act
The Tobacco Control Act requires manufacturers of new or modified tobacco products to submit a premarket application and obtain a market authorization order before they market their products. To introduce a new or modified tobacco product, an applicant must submit an application to FDA providing information on the product sufficient to allow the agency to determine that an order authorizing the product’s introduction is appropriate for the protection of the public health.

To market a new tobacco product, Premarket Tobacco Application must be submitted under Section 910 of the Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act. Before marketing a product in the United States, written notification must be received from FDA permitting the marketing of the new tobacco product. (Section 910 (b)).

PMTA DEADLINE
The current deadline for PMTAs is May 12th, 2020. This date has changed multiple times since the initial publication of the deeming regulations, with the original date of August 8th 2018 being pushed back four years to 2022, before being recently brought forward after a district court decision. For companies which submit applications, the product can remain on the market for up to one year or until a decision is made.

Because FDA’s new comprehensive tobacco regulatory plan places nicotine at the heart of tobacco control efforts, the agency aims to authorize new tobacco products that will provide adults, who are addicted to nicotine, with less harmful alternatives to smoking cigarettes, while keeping any form of nicotine out of the hands of children. ENDS manufacturers are encouraged to create innovative, potentially less harmful tobacco products that can efficiently deliver satisfying levels of nicotine to addicted adult smokers, with less of the known toxicity than combustible products.
