Lauched! SMOKTech SMOK Rigel 230W VW Mod Kit

Hi, guys! Welcome to New Product Introduction! I have a question: do you need a mod kit at present? Today let me introduce you one mod kit named SMOK Rigel 230W VW Mod Kit. Now let’s take a closer look at the mod kit below.

The Original SMOK Rigel 230W Vape Box Mod Kit is composed of exquisite high-performance Rigel Mod and powerful TFV9 Tank.
In terms of appearance, the back design of Rigel adopts a soft rubber coating, and the side design adopts classic carbon fiber, which is smooth and tough. The two sides of the device have ergonomic contours. There are countless honeycomb holes on the surface of the shell, providing a unique visual experience and a perfect hand feel. On the control panel, Rigel has an intuitive rectangular ignition button, an excellent display screen, a pair of wattage adjustment keys as well as a Type-C charging port. The SMOK Rigel Kit is powered by dual high-rate 18650 batteries (not included) with max output 230W, the 0.96 inch TFT display will show you the vaping data clearly, you could adjust the working wattage from 1W to 230W by pressing the adjust buttons freely. In addition, SMOK Rigel integrates an excellent chipset that perfectly combines performance and ease of use, providing an incredible 0.001s ignition speed and a variety of safety protection measures, you can get a strong flavor and a large amount of vapor at the first hit.
SMOK TFV9 Tank is designed for flavor breakthrough. It can hold 6.5ml of vape juice, and the child-proof top cover is used to prevent accidental opening and leakage of e-liquid. The TFV9 Tank has a slide-to-fill system, which can realize the simple and safe filling of e-liquid. With a single filling port and leak-proof groove, the leakage problem can be solved perfectly. Inside the tank is a V9 Meshed 0.15ohm coil made of Kanthal, which can produce huge clouds and good flavor. There are two large airflow adjustable slots on the base, and the air intake can be easily adjusted by rotating the AFC ring.

Labubs Looks Over: The FreeMax Twister 30w Kit, with Fireluke 22

Introduction and Overview
What's up all, back again with another review on another great kit from FreeMax, the Twister 30w with the new Fireluke 22 sub-ohm tank. This is a kit that has something for almost everyone, for the beginner who doesn't know what their style of vaping is yet, for the higher resistance build old-timer, for those who prefer Mouth to Lung or Direct to Lung (or Restricted Lung, even). The younger siblings to the Twister 80w and the Fireluke tanks, the FreeMax Twister 30w and Fireluke 22 are a good regulated VW tube mod and a great 22mm multi-purpose tank. Let's get into the nitty gritty below.

First Impressions
The kit comes in your typical sleeved box, with the color you chose displayed on the front. Small touch (and one I noticed with the Maxus kits as well), but it's the little details like that that tell you that the company puts the effort in. Opening the kit up, you have the device, tank with DTL coil, DTL drip tip, and bubble glass pre-installed; with the straight glass, MTL coil, MTL drip tip, USB cable, spare O-Ring Pack, and Manual/Standard QC check card included in the packaging. First thoughts were on size, it's a great little 22mm tube mod, and only a bit taller than an 18650 or 21700 battery. Second thoughts were on the drip tips, I absolutely adore both of them. The Resin looks great, feels great, and both have the appropriate bore sizes for what they're meant for. The airflow control has a pretty unique design, utilizing the same holes for DTL and MTL, (seen here on the wide-open DTL setting), with a small hole on the opposite side of the AFC ring when adjusting for MTL.

The tube is all-metal construction and utilizes Micro-USB for charging the 1400mah battery. I would have liked to see USB-C here, particularly with the 1.5a fast charge, internal battery, and because the company utilized USB-C on their previous 3 devices. Micro-USB is just a bit fragile in my experience with older mods, though I haven't had an issue here yet. That said, the device does charge from fully depleted to full charge in just around one hour using a typical Samsung phone power block.

It's a great little battery for stealth/out and about, and other 22mm attys look and feel great on it as well (Here's a Tripod on it as an example, using the DTL drip tip....that tip now lives on that RTA haha, as I said, they feel great). So, for those of you who like MTL or Restricted Lung RTAs/RDAs, can build above 0.5 ohms and get the vape you enjoy at or below 30w (or 7.5v, if you know what you're doing), it's worth looking into as a nice little pocket battery!

The Fireluke 22mm is a great little tank, no surprise there with FreeMax's absolute expertise with sub-ohm tanks and coils. The flavor and draw from both coils are absolutely superb, particularly the DTL coil (airflow closed down to a 2 or 3 hole Restricted Lung for me), though that's just my style of vaping. The MTL coil and airflow are true MTL, very reminiscent of the old Protank coils, but much higher quality and using mesh instead of the round wire builds of the old Kanger heads. Both coil types use the new Coiltech 4.0 style SS904L Mesh with Tea Fiber/Organic Cotton as the Fireluke 2 and M Pro 2 coils, and as with those, I've never had flavor as good as this out of pre-made coil heads of this size. Here's a little 'exploded' view of the tank to help picture this: Coils are plugged into a sleeve inside the tank, and when removed, they close off the juice ports. This is a FANTASTIC feature for a tank using factory heads, as you can swap them out with a full tank of juice. There's also a child safety feature of sorts built into the fill port, you have to lift the knurled section before pushing the cap back to fill, which I found to be a thoughtful idea.

Build Quality
USB preference aside, the device is put together well, and looks great with the included tank, I love the stainless accents on the bottom twist control and between the different sections on the tank. Button is responsive and clicky, as is the wattage adjustment. It's a nice looking, nice feeling, 22mm tube mod. Quality is good, as expected from this kind of device.

Functionality and Performance
Very simple. 0.5ohm minimum resistance. Wattage starts at 7.5w, ends at 30w, and is 'officially' adjustable in 2.5 watt increments, with reference numbers at every 5 watt increment, or every two clicks. I say 'officially' that way because while it does click in at 2.5w, stopping between clicks does give roughly the correct power, tested on a voltage/ohm reader with the 1.5 ohm coil installed. I suspect these 'unofficial' settings in between each 2.5w step is where that '90% Power Efficiency' listing on a few of the product pages I saw the kit on came from. I also love that the device can do 7.5v. That's a big deal for those who will use RTAs, the 1.5 ohm head, and I suspect especially the 1.0ohm coils....not something you see every day in these kinds of tube mods. You probably don't want to try running the MTLs at 30w/6.7v though haha, but it's nice to know the tube can push it if you want. Battery power is shown by the typical tri-color LED, Green above 70%, Blue 30%-60%, Red under 30%. Flashes red when battery is dead, or when a protection is kicking in. There's not much else to say here, it's a great stealthy 22mm battery for higher resistance builds, does 7.5v for more advanced users while being a great starter kit for beginners who may not know what their style of vaping is yet.

Fireluke 22
Fantastic. Really, as someone who really, really, really doesn't use sub-ohm tanks very much in favor of squonk setups or RTAs, FreeMax has continuously impressed me with their tanks and coils. I've already covered most of the features of the tank above, but the juice cutoff to allow for coil swapping with full tanks, the aesthetic (especially while on the Twister), and most importantly, the performance (in both MTL and DTL) are all just great. Do keep in mind it's 22mm, so the DTL is a bit closer to very loose Restricted Lung than something like the M Pro 2, but that's to be expected. It is still DTL wide open, but if you're coming from a 28mm fog machine, you may disagree. If you're coming from generally MTL to Restricted Lung as I do, wide open is too open.

I just can't stress enough how good of a tank this is for someone new to vaping, or maybe the vaper who's just moving up to tanks from pods and might not know what kind of draw they're going to prefer. Including both DTL and MTL coils in the kit was clutch, and I'm pretty curious to check out the 1.0 ohm ones as well. I prefer the look of the straight glass personally, though the bubble glass is definitely welcome when using the DTL coil.

In Conclusion
Great little kit for vapers of all experience levels. A fantastic premade coil head tank for users who may not know their preference yet, with some nice features 'under-the-hood' for more advanced users as well. If you're looking for something stealthy, regulated, and adjustable that isn't just another pod kit, you can't really go wrong. USB-C would have been welcome, but overall, it's a recommend from me!

Pros

  • Great stealthy form factor

  • Device can be more advanced than it first seems, while staying very easily accessible to newer users

  • Excellent tank

  • Great drip tips (sorry, I get super excited about drip tips, they're an often-overlooked factor in flavor, and this came with TWO I'll use regularly! ^_^)

  • Quick charge (~45 min from fully depleted plugged into a typical US cell phone block)
Neutral

  • Twister branding on the tube itself, though it's barely visible on the black
Cons

  • Micro-USB instead of USB-C, I put this in cons instead of neutral because FreeMax did incorporate USB-C on previous releases this summer, though those also were fully chipped, screened, and box form mods, so it can be given a bit of a pass considering the stealth tube form factor
Overall: 7.8/10

I'm going 7.8 instead of 8 because of Micro-USB vs. USB-C on an internal battery mod. I'd like to see Micro-USB phased out as a whole on regulated devices (talking industry-wide here). It's the single most common point of failure on devices as a whole, though as long as you're careful while the charge cable is in, it will be fine.

Otherwise, it's a great kit for all types of vapers, and it's the little things, especially being able to output 7.5v, really make it. That power output opens up a whole bunch more opportunities for those of us who will mainly be using the tube, it really spreads that 30w much further than it first seems. The tank is great for the beginner or pod user making their first foray into tanks, and enjoyable to long time vapers as well. All of these new Coiltech 4.0 Mesh/Tea Fiber/Organic Cotton coils in FreeMax's newer tanks are just incredible, past what I thought possible for pre-made heads. As I said before, I definitely recommend this kit to newer vapers, people making the switch from pods, or advanced users who want a 22mm, stealthy tube mod for their RTAs!

(Disclaimer: These kits were sent to me by FreeMax for the purposes of this review, though that has zero influence on the review itself. I spend at least one, usually just about two weeks using all products I review to really get a feel for how they perform and if there are any issues that may not be immediately obvious. Ratings are calculated in context to the type of device being used.)

VooPoo Argus Air prize

I was one of a couple of lucky winners in VooPoo's recent contest/giveaway of an Argus Air.
So, thank you VooPoo and @VOOPOO_Thea.

Many of us have ordered from various places in China, and have been accustomed to long ship times. I was amazed that VooPoo shipped my prize DHL and it arrived within just a few days. Thanks for that too VooPoo!

I am not a fan of camouflage so I did ask them if it was possible to get any color but the camo and they did. I received the brown. So, one more thanks!

I'm not going to do a full review, since @SP013 beat me to it and did a great job. I'm largely in agreement with his comments. But, I will say I'm pleased with the vapor production with the .6Ω coil which came with the mod, and with the airflow generally.
I've been a fan of the PNP coils, and so I think the flavor is excellent.
I'm also finding it very happy in my hand. The leather (I'll call it that, since I'm no expert in fabrics etc. so don't know if it's real leather or not) feels really comfortable and provides a nice nonslip handle.
Here's a thumbnail comparison of the Argus Air with my Vinci Air.

Would I buy the Argus Air? I would and when my Vinci Air goes the way of all mods eventually, I would certainly replace it with another Argus Air.IMG_1387.JPG

Drag 2 Refresh Edition or Argus GT?

Hi!

As the title says, I'm curious about both of these devices hah.

Both come with the same PnP Pod Tank but the main differences are:

  • Form factor, both devices look quite different from each other!
  • Argus GT comes with an USB-c (you can cover it!) and a colored screen.
  • Drag 2 can go from 0.05ohm to 5ohm while the Argus GT can go from 0.1ohm to 3ohm, the Drag 2 can resist more power!
  • Drag 2 comes with a Gene.Fit and the Argus GT with a Gene.TT
  • The Drag 2 has a maximum output of 177w and the Argus GT of 160w.
  • The Drag 2 Mod is more widely known.

So, knowing these things, which device would you pick?

Also, what are the main differences of the Gene.Fit and the Gene.TT? Are they really important?

Thanks! :D

REVIEW: The MGTK 24 mm RDA by Cool Vapor.

Up front disclaimer: Liumin Zhang sent me these to review at no charge. That's not gonna change my opinions.
20200816_173957 (Medium).jpg

In the box, you'll find the RDA with the standard positive pin and an 810 drip tip (and all my other tips seems to fit just fine) preinstalled, a couple spare grub screws, a couple fused clapton coils, spare o-rings, a squonk pin, and a couple allen keys (one for the squonk pin, and one for the deck). All in all, a fairly complete setup. Fairly? No cotton was included... a tiny issue as I rarely use included cotton.

As with any new atomizer, it's best to wash it off first, then lube the o-rings with a little juice. Out of the box, this looked clean, but the o-rings were quite dry, and that made adjusting things dificult.

The MGTK is a raised deck postless RDA. The deck is kinda reminiscent of the old Pi^2, but elevated just a couple mm. It's split down the middle with a chunky positive connector poking up in the center. The screws enter from the sides allowing builds to be installed without twisting leads, and the postholes are large enough to accommodate most chunky coils, yet tight enough to handle smaller, round wire coils (24 AWG, sure... 30 AWG, probably not... but this is not meant for that kind of vaping, so...). Along the rim of the base, there are two little pins to assist in aligning the barrel. The well under the deck is shallow... maybe 2 mm... The deck is stainless steel, and what appears to be PEEK

The cap and barrel is held on by one seriously chunky o-ring at the base, and alignment is assisted by the aforementioned pins poking up from the base. The cap does have a slightly domed top. Airflow comes in through two largish (sorry... can't find my calipers, and the batteries are likely dead anyways) slots in the side, and can be cut down or opened up by turning the cap, which is held on by another single o-ring. I'm currently running with the airflow cut in half, and there's still plenty of air for an ever so slightly restricted DL pull. The cap and barrel is aluminum allow.
20200816_174110 (Medium).jpg

I'm not a huge fan of the looks as there is an enormous Cool Vapor logo in white on either size of the barrel. The barrel and top cap are also done up in a swirly red (also available in blue) and black kind of design... not paint splatter... smoother, and not as in your face, but still, I prefer cleaner designs and engraved logos.

Building was quite simple. I used the provided coils (which had mostly complete, accurate specs provided... NI90 26x2/38 0.22 ohms, each... the specs did not mention the ID... 3 mm for those wanting to know... the pair did come out to 0.11 ohms). I trimmed the leads to just a hair over 5 mm, and dropped them in. I made sure the leads were not touching the deck, then I tightened everything, and straightened the coils. I pulsed/strummed/pinched 'em a couple times to ensure that there were no hot spots, and wicked with organic cotton. Simple!

Before the build, I did swap the standard pin for the squonk pin. The squonk pin runs all the way through the deck and comes out just beneath the coils. I'm running it on a Wismec Luxotic MF with the 100 watt board installed.

But, Shawn, how's it vape?

Vapes good. I mean, there's nothing to rave about, but nothing to complain about either. However, at about $18 from China, it's probably worth it. Would I buy it again? No, but only because I have way too much already on hand... IF I had nothing or was just starting out, yeah, I'd buy it... if I could get past the huge logo on the sides of the barrel.

Let's break it down into some pros and cons...

Cons:
Huge logo on both sides
Swirly paint job (subjective)
Shallow well
Squonk pin comes out under the coils*

Pros:
Easy to build
Lots of air
Protruding 510 pin
Fairly complete kit
Squonk pin comes out under the coils*

*this is both a blessing and a curse... on the one hand, the coils are instantly soaked, and that's good. There's little chance of flooding the deck or leaking (when kept upright), and that's good. On the other hand, it's possible to squonk right up out of the RDA, and it takes a bit to get the well filled, meaning more frequent squonks. Really, the pros and cons here kinda cancel each other out...

Hi! New at this. Choosing the right Mod/Kit!

Hello everyone!

I'm from Chile and I decided to register here because I want to try vaping and learn more about all these things!

Right now I have a JustFog 1453 but the tank connector is broken (the eGo connector does not screw to the battery) and both parts work if I push them together but the experience isn't really good (I also bought a new JustFog C14 tank but probably things won't change that much I believe).

I also want to see if getting a better vaper will help my husband to stop smoking, he was the original owner the previous pen and he bought it hoping it could do the trick for him but it didn't work. He never really liked the vapor he got from the pen, so I don't know. Perhaps a better one will do it?

So, for that reason (and others) I want to get an advanced device because if I end liking the vaping experience I don't want to spend too much more cash to improve it even further (and usually what's cheap in the end tends to be more expensive in the long run) so there are some things I'm looking in this first kit/mod:

  • Good build quality, it should be able to last a good couple of years if I take good care of it.
  • Future proof (as in, a device with "new" electronics, updateable firmwares and with more readily available accessories).
  • 510 thread connector or the possibility to connect an adapter.
  • Accessories/parts that can be manually replaced if they fail. For example, changeable coils (I think these are called RDA, RTA or RDTA, right?).

So after googling and reading a lot I found information regarding what's a mod, a kit and everything in between (probably I'm still confusing some more specific terms but at least I have an idea of it). And sadly some vendors don't really state all the differences in their models, or why some have a different name.

Anyway, I've narrowed my search to these devices:

Vaporesso Gen, Gen S or Luxe II
Voopoo Drag 2 Refresh Edition, Drag X or Argus GT

I know the Vaporesso Gen and Gen S as a mod are pretty much the same and what changes are its colors (love the Lime Green Gen S) and the taml I'll get, the Gen comes with a SKRR-S and the Gen S with a NRG-S. The Luxe II kit is a Luxe S with an Axon chip instead of the Omni Board 4.2 (the same one as the Gen and Gen S) and it also comes with a NRG-S tank.

While I'm more inclined for the Gen S (I want the Lime Green color!) or the Luxe II, none of these are available where I live which makes me saaaaad. And I think there are no RDA coils.

For the Voopoo ones all of them come with the same tank and there's a PnP RDA coil for them! Which makes me feel really happy! Mostly because I would be wasting less "materials".

The Drag X and the Argus GT are slightly newer and both come with USB-c (but probably won't be using it that much) but it's good to have a new "port" on a machine and it seems it comes with a slighter newer chip as well, the Gene.TT instead of the Gene.Fit of the Drag 2 Refresh Edition. Dunno how different both chips are but main difference between the devices is the Drag 2 can use coils between 0.05ohm and 5ohms vs the 0.1ohms and 3ohms of the Argus GT and the Drag X which I suppose is better for the Drag, as it means it can take much more power compared to the other device... but who really will smoke something at such high power? Between the Argus GT and the Drag 2, which one is more future proof considering the Drag 2 is a very well known mod.

I also know I can also buy a new tank such as the GeekVape Zeus X RTA and use it on all those devices (with the Drag X being the only exception, but there's a mod that can allow me to use a 510 connector on it), allowing me to use my own coils and my own stuff.

So yeah, that's where I am right now hah. Veeery undecided haha.

Perhaps I should just buy a Vaporesso Gen mod with a GeekVape Zeus X RTA? It might be a good plan on the long run and that way not worry for commercial coils, or should I wait for the Gen S? Or the Luxe II? Or go str8 for something else?

I'm all ears, and thanks if anyone actually managed to read all this! <3

Thanks again! :D

Description BTB Mod 100W:
Like its sister Gemini-Hybrid, the BTB-100W is built in solid zinc alloy, the elegant design and its very small shape make it comfortable and easy to hold.

The entire frame, excluding the removable panel, is therefore a single block in zinc alloy, at the top the section tapers progressively, connecting with the base of the 510 cup.
The base of the 510 cup has been machined to integrate in a visually pleasing way into the overall design of the BTB.

The massive side panels of my SS Vintage Classic version are covered with a layer of very durable fabric (looks like jeans).
The decorations on the fabric include a tricolor transversal strip on both sides, on one side we find the initials BTB (Back To Basic) on the other side the word Lost Vape appears.

The non-decorated fabric part and the decorated fabric areas have two different and pleasant textures to the touch.
The panel with the wording BTB is the removable one, perfectly coupled with the structure that houses it, to be removed it uses a recess on the bottom.

7.jpg

8.jpg

The front of the BTB houses at the top the slightly protruding fire button, circular in shape and large.
The fire button is made of black plastic.
The 0.96 inch color TFT screen is the same color as the control keys (black).
The Up / Down control keys are placed on an elongated rocker, below them is the only mode key having the same shape and color.
The USB Type-C charging socket is located in the lower part of this side.

VAPORESSO GEN NANO REVIEWED BY BIGBOB2322

Hello again everyone todays review comes from Vaporesso and it's on the baby brother of the Gen S . The little miniaturized version of the Gen S is called the Gen Nano, and as the name refers it is tiny. I was sent the Gen Nano Kit that includes the GTX Tank 22 and as the name implies uses Vaporesso GTX Coils so you get cross compatibility with other Vaporesso devices and or tanks that use the GTX Coils. As always lets get to know the Gen Nano as well as the GTX Tank 22 before I give my review of this kit.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS

The Gen Nano comes packaged just as it's big brother with a tray holding the GTX Tank 22, spare glass ( 2ml ) and mod, underneath the tray is a box containing spare o-rings, usb cable, 0.6Ω coil, warranty card, user manual, and a GTX coil card. Preinstalled is the bubble tank as well as the 0.2Ω coil.

20200808_075314.jpg

As the name implies the Gen Nano really is a tiny device that also is lightweight even after the included GTX Tank22 is screwed on. I have been able to carry it in in my shirt pocket without a heavy sag of material happening. The Nano uses the same almost rubber like coating on the mod and is one of the most comfortable feeling non-slip type of coatings I've used on a device. There are no sharp corners, all the edges of the mod are rounded off just like it's big brother ( GEN S ) which adds to the great hand feel the Nano provides. Charging is done by a USB port located at the bottom of the mod. The mod uses a centered 510 also.

20200815_083055.jpg

The GTX Tank 22 is a top fill but doesn't use a separate top cap from it's original top cap instead the whole top lid unscrews , there are no fill ports, just pour your juice into the glass tank, just be sure not to overflow or pour juice down the center stack. The Tank has a duel airflow configuration and wide open is very airy. ( AIR LOVERS DREAM ). Closing the tanks airflow down you get a nice restricted DL vape.

20200815_081010.jpg

The GTX Tank 22 uses the GTX Coils which I'm glad Vaporesso went this route instead of developing a new coil, the GTX coils are cross compatible with other Vaporesso products that use the GTX Coil.

GTX COIL PLATFORM SHOWN AGAIN ARE COMPATIBLE
WITH TARGET PM80, PM80SE,GTX ONE AND OTHERS

Vaporesso_GEN_NANO_Kit_Coils.JPG

Returning back to the Nano it's the normal 5 presses of the power button to turn on/off. The Nano has a total of 4 buttons that include the power button, up button, down button and a 4th button the menu button which is centered under the up and down buttons at the bottom of the device. Having a dedicated menu button is a BIG PLUS because with a menu button you no longer have to remember button combinations to get into and use the menu anymore.

20200815_081846.jpg

To get into the menu once the device is turned on either press the menu button 3 times or hold the menu button down for 3 seconds and the menu screen will appear on the display screen, then simply scroll across to your desired feature in the menu. I already covered in detail the menu system both the Gen S and the Nano use in my review of the Gen S. If you haven't seen it or wish to see it again The link is here. VAPORESSO GEN S KIT REVIEWED BY BIGBOB2322

As was shown in the description of the Nano earlier it houses a 2000 mAH battery that if used at moderate wattages will last the user a good amount of time before a recharge is needed. I rarely go over 80w so the Nano fills my needs nicely. Battery venting is done with 10 small holes located on the bottom of the Nano.

20200815_083515.jpg

The 0.91" OLED display screen is a bit dimmer than the Gen S especially for viewing outdoors. The screen has all the information you need done in a very nice layout that includes a battery % and not a graph as most devices have.

20200815_082841.jpg

The Nano when viewed with it's big brother shows just how tiny but powerful it really is. I absolutely love my Gen S but I grab the Nano for any long errands . Both have that great rubber type skin and both are absolutely gorgeous.

20200811_131113.jpg

PROS
* ATTRACTIVE
* VERY GOOD FLAVOR
* LIGHTWEIGHT
* TINY
* RUBBERIZED COATING
* NO SHARP CORNERS
* DEDICATED MENU BUTTON
* 2 AMP CHARGING
* EASY MENU
* TANK USES GTX COILS
* TANK COLOR MATCHES THE MOD 100%

CONS
* DISPLAY COULD BE BRIGHTER

FINAL IMPRESSIONS

My final impression of the Vaporesso Nano with the GTX Tank 22 is this, The mod itself is a dream for errand running because of it's size and weight and paired with the GTX Tank they go together like a PB&J sandwich. Having a tank that matches your mod is something us vapers always strive to achieve but seldom accomplish but is not going to be the case with the Gen Nano kit ( 100% tank and mod color match ). Vaporesso is a company that always seems to think of the little extra things it can include that either make it easier to use or gives a added feature. The added features I like with the Nano are a battery % meter and a time displayed until battery is fully charged in minutes.

As a regular user of the GTX coils I was thrilled to see them used in the GTX Tank 22 because I get really good flavor from them. The GTX Coil Platform has a coil for just about any vaper making this tank even better than it already is. The top fill is different but not a con to me.

Put them together and they work, and work well. I have been able to shirt pocket this kit without a material sag so that should tell you how light the combo are together. I have had 0 leaks from the tank but have encountered a very juicy type of vape after filling that last for about 3 or 4 vapes then settles down to normal.

Performance of the Nano has been great, no failure to fire or any type of problems since using for a couple of weeks. I review many products and something new always comes along and takes the place of my out and about device I've been using such as the Xros taking the place of the Xtra as this has just done to it. Yes the previous out and about devices I used were both by Vaporesso, no favoritism here they just fit my vaping style for out and about errands.

So in wrapping this up I can say that I think this device combo works very well and I would recommend it very highly. I would like to thank Jessica, Chelsea and Vaporesso for providing the Gen Nano Kit for review and I hope this review was helpful to anyone planning on purchasing the Vaporesso Gen Nano Kit.

THANK YOU

About drop in coils

soooo I was complaining the other day in the innokin thread about the z coils :D and one of the most important things I was crying about was that they claim u can use with 70vg and in my opinion the cotton is very tight in there to wick well like the first day it's ok but the second already u see drop in wicking performance and u need to wait for the cotton to get ready every 2 puffs or something....ok I know many say they have no problems and it's not I get dry hits but my juice it's not even 70vg its 66% vg and I see it lose vapor after first puff and also sometimes wierd flavor.....aaanyways if u work 60vg in my opinion works well and ok I was thinking it's actually impossible to make a stock coil to work 60pg without leaking and also 70vg perfectly I guess... like ok I get it they do a good job...sooo anyways I rebuild my z coils now and I can adjust the cotton, the airflow of coil and use any wire I want and they are perfect for my 66vg juices....Soo I was wondering...has ever any manufacturer made coils besides the wire also for different thickness of ejuice?? Like for vg pg percentage??? P.s. sorry for my English i i i hope u understand what I try to say

REVIEW: VAZE VAPE

Vaze is a french company that I've haven't heard of before. Once I was looking at my local vape shops website and saw a small pod device, very similiar to OVNS JC01. So similiar that it uses same pods as JC01. Price of this device is around 20€. So what do you get for your money?

Very small and modern design system. Only 40g in weight. 46mm x 39mm x 8mm in size. There are 4 colors to choose from, matte black, matte white, rose gold and purple. If you are wondering about the battery, it's 400 mAh, so around 4-5 hours. One thing that upsets me the most is that the pod it self is not included. Vaze uses disposables like Juul, which they sell on their website. How I said at the start, you can use JC01 pods with this device. Talk about the devil, yes you can also use Juul, Airbender or Sylo pods. I've been using this pod for like 2-3 months to get the real experience. Well, it's not worth the money to be honest. There are better devices for the same price. Quite bigger but way better for example is the Vaporesso Xtra or smaller and half the price Vaporesso Osmall. One of the pods I've been using with Vaze started leaking, making it stop working until the liquid dried out. I've bought new pod and the autodraw is working, most of the time. Pod gets looser after some time but never fell off. I didn't have the opportunity to try original Vaze pods, because they doesn't ship to my country.

So final score 2.5/5 (Ok - Fine). If you want to try it, feel free to do so but i'd rather get one of the Vaporessos or the Caliburn Koko for 5 more euros.

Mech mod for long-term vaping?

So, I'm trying to stock up a bit before everything hits the fan in September for the U.S. All I have is regulated mods at the moment (2 Aegis Solos, a Dovpo Topside, a Uwell Ironfist, and a couple of pod mods - Kylin AIO and an Aspire Mulus). I'm looking to get another squonk mod or two, but should I be looking into getting a mech mod if I'm planning on vaping long-term?

I have ~10 yrs worth of 250mg salt nicotine from Nicotine River, so I was hoping between all of the mods I currently have that they might last... I might get more nicotine though.

Any advice is appreciated! Thanks!

Vaporesso XTRA Pod Kit

This review doesn’t claim to be completely technical. These are rather my impressions of the most significant features of the device for me.

After a long impatiently waiting, finally a post service delivered my Vaporesso XTRA to me. The box marked with ‘Gray resin color’.. but I open the box and WOW!!! I got a device with an exclusive color scheme! The body is applied with one of the symbols of the eastern lunar calendar. It’s an exclusive Harmonic Edition.

upload_2020-8-16_12-49-4.png

Naturally, the first I take the POD in my hand and try to hold it in different positions. Yes, it fits comfortably in the hand, does not slip and has an optimal weight. The first impression it is a very high quality thing (as usual with Vaporesso)

The package contains an XTRA itself with pre-installed pod 0.8 Ohm, mini USB cable, additional MTL pod 1.2 Ohm and different papers.

upload_2020-8-16_12-50-23.png

There are two types of replaceable PODs:
UNIPOD:1.2Ω, 11W, 2 ml. for MTL mode
MESHED UNIPOD: 0.8Ω 16W, 2 ml for DL mode.
DL pod has a red liquid cap, MTL - gray.
The case of the POD is absolutely transparent, which helps to clearly see the liquid level. Inside the body of the device, the POD is held by four powerful magnets. I tried to shake the POD out of the case, and I couldn't do it :). The pod mouthpiece has a flattened shape, which is very convenient for me.

upload_2020-8-16_12-51-14.png

upload_2020-8-16_12-51-37.png

The device doesn't have a power button, it turns on automatically when you puff. The power level is fully automatic and depends of the pod resistanse. The battery capacity 900 mAh is more than sufficient for a full day. This makes you feel confident that you don't have to frantically search for a charger. The level of the charge signed by the different colors of the LED indicator.

Special thanks for the branded high-quality USB cable. Durable and reliable. I use this extensively in various gadgets. A trifle, but nice.

upload_2020-8-16_12-53-19.png

XTRA is smaller than my smallest vape device. Very well. This will be my spare device and device for use outside the home. I can also brag it to my friends and colleagues at work;).

upload_2020-8-16_12-53-56.png

Common impressions.

Pros:
Vaporesso brand.
Nice design
High battery capacity
Small size, comfortable shape.
Contras:
Lack of precise power control.
Unique PODs, incompatibility with unified coils.

Bottom line: a cool device.

Many thanks to Heaven Gifts for the prize in their excellent competition.

Really need some advice

Hi all- I'm an old guy that smoked for over 40 years until I found vaping in 2014. Changed my life. I've been ordering my juice and hardware online for years, but when I went to make an order the other day I was told that they can not ship anything to my home state of Maine! I noticed they don't even carry things like Juul at my local market any more. I have yet to check with any local vape shops, but I assume they can't get the stuff either. I'm down to my last bottle of juice and in a panic. Don't want to go back to tobacco, and the spouse would never go for that anyway. What the heck are my options (other than driving to another state)? Can you get ingredients and make your own juice?
Thanks for any advice?
