They look like another China company.
Can't answer the other questions
Not long ago they had a code that would have allowed the puchase of a device at a big savings. I made the puchase and paid with Paypal. Less than 12 hours later I got an email saying they canceled the order and refunded. The stated the reason as it was an error on the site that wasn't supposed to be listed - had been up for over a day.
They then offered the same device with a much lower discount - hardly any discount from what the original price had been. Took a look on the site and they had raised the base price on it by over 20%.
I try to stay away from dealing with the China companies - too many bad experiences.
IMO this one is one to stay away from - from the one almost transaction I had with them they came across as shady.

scamadvisor says it has a low trust rating, and is likely a scam site. http://www.scamadviser.com/is-gearbest.com-safe.html

the review site trustpilot has nothing but negative reviews: https://www.trustpilot.com/review/gearbest.com

whois report looks sketchy to me: http://whois.domaintools.com/gearbest.com

tl;dr don't waste your time or money.

Edit to add: Are they US based? No. They're based in China, according to whois, but their website is hosted in a server located in Washington.

The scam advisor warnings looked almost identical to fasttech though. But the facebook reviews was where it got more sketchy. I wouldn't risk it.

if you search on the net, you will see there are lots of complaints about gearbest.
I gave an order and they are telling lies.
they have not send the photo of the package. Actually they had put a fake photo on my order page, they removed it because it is so obvious that it is fake photo.
They tell that; they do not take photos of the package...
look up ;

Also they offer coupons to remove or update bad reviews.

Several us stores are popping up with decent prices
I been hitting sales on
Vapenw.com
Codevape.com
Both have shipped fast, and answered my emails pretty quick ( I usually ask some generic questions of new stores to see ifand how they respond) codevape usually sends me a shipping notice within a few hours
And the stupid free shipping at25 bucks usually gets me to spend that extra few bucks
Good sales
101 vapeis pretty good too sometimes.

I haven't tried them but several people like angelcigs USA warehouse

I'm waiting on the old man in a row boat, not sure why he went through the Netherlands first. Someday my package may arrive, just not sure how much hair I'll have left when that day comes.
Same here. I made a small order as a test and 8 days later the tracking still says pre-advised (aka a tracking label has been made but the carrier haven't received the package yet). Figure I'll get my order in a month or 2 at this rate.

I just placed an order yesterday morning 4/1/15 (about 2AM) from the Angelcig USA warehouse and last night received an email with USPS (first class) tracking #. Turns out within 7 hours of placing my order they had printed a label and about 12 hours after that the package was at the USPS origin facility and shortly after that had departed to head my way. Its eta is 4/6/15.
Thus far I'm impresses.

Anybody wondering about Angelcigs USA the tracking started at
FREMONT,.CA.94538.
And shortly after was at
OAKLAND,.CA.94615.

So if your close to there I'd guess you would get your order very quickly.

GearBest might have some good deals but their shipping sucks. I ordered a few small items back in late January and they failed to say that one of the items was out of stock. They split the order and shipped the first few items they had but then advised me of the last item being out of stock. OK...I waited for it to be instock, a month went by and I emailed their customer service asking bout my item, they said wait a few more days. A couple days later a shipping label was made and sat in "pre shipping" for well over a week. So IMO they pulled a fast one by making a shipping label so I couldn't return the item and it sat that way for well over a week. On March 10 it was finally received by Netherlands post and 3 weeks later its still out there somewhere and I haven't received it yet.
I've ordered some plastic bottles, small beakers and magnetic stirbars from China out of Ebay and had them inhand in less than 2 weeks. No I won't be ordering from GearBest again.
BTW.. If you do happen to order from GearBest make sure the price matches the shopping cart price and the checkout price. I had a item that the price magically went up when I went got to the checkout.

Looks like in a way I got lucky when I made my gearbest order; the item cost a dollar something less in the cart than on the page and my coupon code worked on top of that.

I did just double check and I placed my GB order on 3/18/15 and they marked it as shipped (aka printed shipping label) on 3/25/15.
So that's 7 days from placing order to being marked as "shipped" and its been 9 days and the tracking still shows pre-advised.
Definitely not impressed that its been 16 days from order date and the tracking is still a worthless thing.
