And they sell well. It's why certain investors back them. Murdoch, Soros and others - Liz Forgan, extreme Leftist.

The Guardian
and its parent groups participate in Project Syndicate, established by George Soros. The Guardian, another tabloid is owned by the Scott Trust Limited owned by Forgan.

So, it's a supermarket type tabloid, which I knew.

However, in perusing their archives over the last year, I've seen a number of pro-vaping articles in the same "rag" ---- quite a few, as a matter of fact.

So do we not believe those, too?

Well, the post to which I was responding has been edited - edited out Murdoch, tabloid, etc. - the point being that most of the newspapers in the UK are of that type and that there are other owners with different agendas - mainly, I would think that it's to stay in business (although the same couldn't be said of some US newspapers and some tv stations who are bankrupt and/or propped up by other means), but there are obvious political agendas as well. (same during the Federalist/Republican eras here and the Tory/Whig/Radical Whig eras there - before Marx and hence before "Labor" parties)

Here, the overwhelming pro-vaping stories have come from a few sources that is easily seen. And the same for the anti-ecig pieces. It is noted when there are exceptions to each, but there is a pattern. Some of the pieces that some say are 'positive' have so much of the 'negative' imbedded that I tend to dismiss them as 'pro-ecig' articles - but that's also part of how "journalism" is taught in the US at least. As far as 'believe' that's for individual to decide.

Hopefully we'll see a 'turning' of views with vaping like we've seen with other minority issues and those media that now uphold the gov't line, will change toward a more objective view. I'm not holding my breath, but there are examples of minds being changed. Hillary and Obama were both against gay marriage just a few years ago - as one example. Cheney is another. Some Democrats are ok with concealed carry.
