Not only is provape closing, there are vapers who don't know what it is anymore :/
I'm a builder. I only know what pertains to my little niche. I'd vent a tube mod with most builds if the batteries were at 4.2v
I'm sad to see any US company go though. I wish sigelei would close down.

They were way behind technology wise IMO. And too expensive. Nice products but the flood of DNA type box mods probably put the nail in their coffins.

They "are" way behind now but in their day they were awesome. I never had one due to the high price but tried my friend's. The flavor was better than the junk I had. It's just that I had three mods for what he payed for his mod.

I have 5 or 6 P2 & P2.5s the wife has 5 or 6. She uses hers. She's dropped the same one out of bed onto the hardwood floor almost every night for the past 3 years. Built to last.
I'm gonna build my R91 or a KFL+ clone and wick it with rayon JFTFOI cause I'm bored.
4mm 22ga is probably out of the question IIRC o_O

:lol: Back when the 2.0 and 2.5 came out that build was unheard of even for mechs.
A 2mm coil was considered a Macro Coil back then. A real monster! Times are a chang'n.

3mm 26ga @ 1.6Ω in an unremembered-brand 2014 clone was ok but meh
It kept up with wicking max vg but tiny airflow hole.

2.5mm 28ga @ 1.5Ω in a 2016 EhPro kinda ran out of wicking capacity.
I'll try a tighter wick before rewrapping with 1 less coil.

I have to double or triple hit them to feel like I'm vaping so the wicking has to be perfect to keep up with max vg. I might add a percent of saline to a small bottle before rewrapping 28ga.

I have a P3 stealth that I used for maybe 2 days just to test it out. Mint condition. Provari 2.5 was my first regulated mod as well. I used them with mini protanks and was a pretty good vape. Have 2 2.5's in my collection and the P3. I bet the P3 might be worth a few bucks someday.

I used to have to triple hit my provari even back in the day to get a satisfactory hit.

I remixed some of that Pig Sap to 8% saline for inhalation.
Now it wicks almost as fast as I can hit it.
S'not bad but it likes 17.5W better than the 15W the P2.5 can give it.

VG nic + 10% (PG based) flavor + 8% saline = viscosity of about 50/50
