Get yourself one of those needle threaders, and it's a breeze.

The "double insertion" method of wicking that was mentioned a few posts above (with a link). I had trouble passing the 2nd half of the wick through the coil, always hung on the 1st. With the threader, you just hold the first one down, slide the threader through (same direction), insert the 2nd into the threader, and pull the threader while holding the 1st wick half.

Dental floss helps with the double insertion method.

It also works great for shimming out loose orings and repairing holes or tears in tent fabric. The stuff is magic. I even used it once to stop an umbilical cord bleed out on a newborn puppy. Oh, then there's the teeth cleaning thing...

The Vice President has buttons on his underwear? Or maybe Veep has another meaning?

Sorry, cigatron. Mr. Ock has been my VP since WAAAAAAAAAAY back in the .... ummm..... what was it, @DavidOck ? The Innokin something or another thread? It's been so long I don't even remember, but his title just sort of stuck!

Your dental floss recommendos are marvelous. Mind if I put them in my new book "Life Lessons Learned Via Vaping"? I've got some room left in Chapter 17.

Just simply brilliant. (No, I haven't tried it yet, but you can be assured that I will do!)

Are you old enough to blame CRAFT??

I am, so I'll take your word on it having been that Innokin thread....

Oh, I just stretch mine out and do a scottish roll, makes it nice and round and non-lumpy, with rayon it helps if I pull on both sides as I'm running it through.

Just wanted to say thanks for this thread!
Read a lot of it & have finally had the chance to get hold of & try out Rayon.
I only vape NETs....& inadequately-filtered diy ones! I'm now pretty much settled with mesh wicks in vert. coils; in small rdas ('Little 16' ftw!!) & squonking.
However.....Rayon has enabled Me to take My old Magma & (newer) Avocado out of retirement! Deffo gives Me more use-time than cotton ever did (cotton was basically just trying to filter My NETs for Me!!!).
I now just have to hold back the 'shiney-itus' now that I'm not restricted to mesh/vertical coil-friendly atties!!!

Welcome to the thread @yourgurnard. Nice to see another net vaper. I use rayon for my nets for the same reason, extended wick life. Better flavor is just an added bonus.
