Karen and I were talking the other day about how we refill our bottles and realized we both use the same technique, just in slightly different ways. So I figured I'd take a picture and share with you what I have found to be immensely easy for me. Before beginning, it might help to make sure your bottle is ready to pour...so remove the cap, unless you can do it with one hand. My bottles are easy for me to remove the cap with one hand, so it's a non-issue for me.
Holding the Reo with the door off in my left hand, I pinch the cap & tube between my left thumb and forefinger after I've removed the bottle and placed it in the vacant space left by the bottle. Then I take the juice bottle (the big one) in my right hand and pour into the 6ml bottle. Screw the bottle back into place and away I go. :)

That's similar to what I do. My juice has these nice little tips on them that I can fit down in the bottle right beside the tube, no mess at all that way.

And just a teaser of one of the things I'm tinkering with.

Just noticed you can see my other Reo in it's cubby on my dash in the right side of the pic.

unlike my other VVGs this one has the teeny tiny recessed button. i *think* that indicates it's from one of the earlier runs of VVG?

were there any issues with this button style? i bought this as a gift, since my oldest daughter's favorite color is ahem manly salmon. (but it's growing on me, so... :) )

if there's an issue with the button, i could swap doors with one of the others , but this one is in pristine condition.

Yes, Dennis...those buttons didn't work as well as the manufacturer had claimed. So they have been replaced. If you want to get it upgraded to the new button, let Rob know. :)

Thank you, Lisa. I'll PM Rob once i make up my mind on how many other goodies (more brass RM2s, doors...) i may want to special-order :)

My oh my! that is a PRETTY knife! If I was a knife wielding woman, that would be the one!
:) Thank you. It's special 'cause it was a surprise gift from my friend, Purple is my favorite color, and 27 is my favorite number (it's marked 27 of 50).

:p At the very least, carry a Victorinox Classic! haha I find that I like using the little scissors to trim my cotton wicks.

Figures. I finally find a knife I might just actually want to have, and it is too special for me. Champagne tastes on a beer budget DH likes to say. I just say I know good stuff when I see it!

How about one of the ones from Case's Purple Passion series? :D I have a Toothpick from them. Super pretty - I'd snap a shot, but it's sitting in the car. And I'm lazy. xD

So you know I am not a knife wielding woman right? But you MADE me look that up

They are the wrong color purple. I am purple picky, I like YOUR knife purple, not the dark bluey purple.
