    Cutting CE2's for Tank Mods...

Just thought I would post this since I couldn't really find any info about it. General Tools 1-1/8 in. Professional Tube Cutter - 1209 at The Home Depot I got one of these and it makes quick and easy work of cutting those CE2's. No need to pay $3.50 for the pre-cut ones, just buy a...

    Flavor that won't mix....

I bought some Root Beer from PA recently, and this stuff just won't mix....it remains separated now even after a week. Any idea on how to deal with this? I've been shaking it from time to time, submerging in hot water, etc. Nothing seems to work, so hoping to hear some ideas on what might.

Bahnzo's Box Mods - Hardwood Box Mods and More

Hi! And thanks for taking a look at my thread for selling my hand built hardwood box mods. I do this as a hobby, so there are no pre sales or ordering; I'll be posting as I build new mods and offering them for sale. Prices will be dependent on wood used and do not include batteries or atomizers...

    My new PV case

Curly Maple....I've yet to install the electronics as I'm still in the process of applying the topcoat protectant, but it looks so good right now I had to take a pic. Looks good, but the cellphone pic just doesn't do it justice. Can't wait to get the holes drilled and parts installed after I...

    Variable Voltage question

I completed my first VV mod last night. Everything works, but the voltage control is a bit weird. I used one of these: Digi-Key - 3352T-201LF-ND (Manufacturer - 3352T-1-201LF) What happens, is it controls the voltage just fine up to about 3 volts or so, then the adjustment becomes *very*...

    The Baby Sister

Same casing that Ken at boxmods.net uses for the Little Sister variable mod. Just two batts wired in parallel, tact switch with a mosfet and an LED. Vapes like a champ. Sorry for the cell phone pics. I realize the inside pic looks like crap, but it's much cleaner than it looks.

    Source for 24awg wire?

I went to Radio Shack, and the smallest wire they have is 22 AWG (they have 24, but it's solid copper). It seems the wire you normally get in a battery box is 24awg, but I'll be damned if I can find it for sale. Any ideas? I looked at digikey.com, but it seems they only sell in 100' lengths...

    DigiKey question

Can anyone find switches like these at Digikey? Tactile Switch with Round actuator, 300g. Been looking and can't find anything similar.

    Wooden Dowel Mod

Here's a 14500 mod made from a 1 inch wooden dowel. More of a proof of concept I guess, it needs some refinement. It's simply a 3/4 inch hole with 3/4" end caps that I bought. I think with a 14500 I could use a 7/8 dowel instead and the end caps would match up better on the end. Also...

"Mark Read" doesn't work in certain forums....

If you use the "Mark Read" from the drop down, it technically works, but won't mark the threads as read until you refresh the page. This only happens in forums that have sub-forums. If you use it in a forum that doesn't, it works fine. But otherwise it just marks the sub-forums read, and not...

    Food Pairing

FoodPairing - Combining foods for new tastes Interesting website that might be useful in concocting flavors. Basically, you choose a flavor, and the website shows you what other flavors go well with it. Meant for food, of course, but could be useful for our purposes.

Need a backup PV? BoxMods built.....

I got the go ahead from Jules on this, so here it is....... After reading about people who don't have a backup PV for when their's breaks or dies and need something while it's repaired, I've decided to offer to build 3.7v boxmods for those who don't have something as a backup. Let me say this...

    Question about wiring in parallel

I picked up a 4xAA box at the Shack today....was just planning on using it for a couple 14500's at 3.7v but was thinking: I'll have 3 slots for batteries, since I'm wiring it in parallel, can I wire all three slots and use only two batteries (leaving the 3rd slot for when I get another 14500)...

Allowing for a blunt tip needle?

So...I got my DIY stuff now and am experimenting. One thing that concerns me is the 16 gauge blunt needle I have. It's rather large and while it works great, it seems it could contain quite a bit of liquid and throw off measurements. IE: I regularly use it with a 1ml syringe to draw out small...

Buy your PG/VG at the pharmacy

I'm sure this has been stated, but I'll say it again, check your pharmacy for PG/VG. I went to the local Safeway today, and bought 16oz of USP PG for $10 and a 6oz bottle of USP VG for $6. Can't buy it that cheap online, especially after shipping. Make sure you ask the pharmacist for it...

    Combination steel/delrin drip tip

Best of both worlds...stainless steel on the inside so juice flows easily, delrin on the outside for a better texture, no steel taste for those bothered by it.

    2 questions.

I'm about to jump in the mod-making pool. I'm going to start out basic and just make a 3.7 nico-stick to get the hang of things. My sweet spot right now is a Riva with a LR atty on it. Do I need a more powerful switch for LR atty use? I have a 12 Volt, 2 amp switch. Also, I've read that...
