To be honest, I don't pay too close attention to the pod/pod mod market, but I have only seen a handful that come with or have am optional 510 adapter. Seems like it's the exception, not the norm. But that's just from what I perceive from what I've seen.

Pods have their place--they are convenient, discreet, very user friendly, and they travel well. I have a few but they are my secondary devices--not for regular daily vaping. Besides, I prefer glass tanks, anyway.

Hi, I'm new to this forum.

I just got my Swag PX80 2 days ago and I'm already frustrated. It leaks sometimes even with the 70/30 liquids and the filling cap already teared down a little because of me trying to open it and my nails stripped some of the rubber.

I guess the only downside with this thing is the bottom filling. If it was top filling with a unique design like as in Aspire Revvo, this thing would be the ultimate vape for me.

Also a minor issue, today it somehow managed to allow up/down buttons because my wattage went from 40W to 39.5W even though it was locked. I'm not sure how it happened.

Has anyone found a 510 adapter for this yet so I can use it with Aspire Revvo?

Update, 1/10 wouldn't recommend. I already had a better vape but I just bought it because it was more compact than my huge vape. I really had hopes, I really believed in this product and yet it's another disappointment.

It burns the coils easily even though I don't heavily vape. It leaks, god it leaks!. Even with 70/30.

I can only wish that Vaporesso will release this product with top-fill design in the future. For now, this is going to the trash bin.

Agreed.
Went thru 1 coil a day during 3 straight days...coils properly primed and i let the tank rest for at least 20 minutes.
Never chain vaped either, always kept my other mod at hand in case i felt the need to chain vape.
Take the 0.3 coil for example, recommended at 32w to 45w,i always kept it at 28w or maybe even 30w and still it was black and tasting burns within a day.
Leaking like major leaking i haven't had a problem but the lower part of the pod (silver finishing) did get a little juice once in a while.

Electronic wise something is wrong, from 0.30 it jumped to 0.45 and maybe even sometimes at 0.50 ohms.

Device looks good but not happy with it.

My review was posted here:

Vaporesso PX80 review by Javichu

Was lucky enough to get it for free thru a Spanish website that sent it to me so i could write a review.
Got in contact with them and they are sending a courier over to pick it up tomorrow.

Shame really,my first vaping device with a 510 was the first Swag 80w which worked perfectly, actually still have it but it's just stored away in its box.

Anyone knows a better tank that I can use with PX80 mod?

Think not, from what i gathered in Jai Haze's review no other of his pods were usable with the PX80,something to do with the magnets that hold the pod to the mod.

It's weird for me to hear about all these problems with the PX80. I've been using mine with the .2 coils since I received it for review some time ago. I did get some condensation under the tank but no leaking. I run the .2 coil at 45 watts. I do have several different mods in rotation so don't use it all day every day but have not seen the issues mentioned here. I haven't burned one coil yet. I'm curious, how much liquid do you run through a coil before it fails?

Yep i am the same way,try to rotate my devices (mods and attys) on a daily basis....well not so much rotation now since the ''glovebox'' incident :(:(
I got two of em from the Spanish website for the review,as usual and thinking of others benefit i gave one away to a neighbor that wanted to quit smoking.

Well anyway, for review purposes i just used the PX80 on a daily basis, now sometimes i like to chain vape specially if i have been busy on the computer and ''forgot'' to vape so kept my colossal+destiny rta also on the desk for those few and between chain vaping cravings but yeah daily use was on the PX80.

Liquid wise hard to tell i never really measure it but ballpark figure would be 12 to 18ml's a day, usual 70/30 ratio with shiva aroma (mint fresh).

2 coils in the box and 3 coils i got extra,2 coils in the box already taste a bit burnt by the end of the day, second one lasted a bit longer but was black and burnt by day and half of use.

Keep in mind i always had locked down the wattage and all coils were properly primed and rested before first use, also never used full power when starting them up,slowly worked the wattage up.

For the 0.2 coils i stayed at the minimum and same for the 0.3 coils, not a fan of warm vapes.

This morning and giving the PX80 another chance i switched to the 2ml pod that came in the box (was previously using the 4ml they also sent me) and put in the 0.3 coil (freshly installed).
Readings were all over the place from 0.50 down to 0.45 then to 0.50 again, down to 0.35 up to 0.40 and so on and so on.

Contacted the Spanish website that sent it and the messenger is picking it up tomorrow, got it for free so no biggie but really not impressed, got better performance from my ol' SWAG 80w.

Thanks for the information. I go through a lot less liquid than you do. Probably like 4ml a day. I am not allowed to vape at work but do stealth with a pod. I've had the same .2 coil in use for quite some time. I'll put in a fresh coil the next time I'm ready to fill the tank and make a note as to how many ml I am able to run through that coil. If nothing else, just out of my own curiosity.

Looks like they released the PX80 as a 510 mod

You know, from their website, I noticed the mod itself might have had the 510 adapter. The kit does not. I thought I might have been mistaken.

Ooooh, I wonder if this is just the pod mod with a 510 adapter. If you look at the pic closely, it looks like that 510 is inserted where the pod would be.

I would hope it's a solid connection instead of an adapter but would a lot of people would like a 510 adapter for the ones they already bought.

Well if all that is is a magnetic 510 dropped into the pod well, you'd think they would sell it separately. Actually seems kinda strange to just drop in a magnetic 510 and sell it as a new product. This pod mod has created a lot of buzz and if people end up liking it I bet many would pay as much as $10 for that adapter.

I agree. I doubt it's an adapter when it's listed as a 510 threaded mod on the FT site. I'd probably pay that for a couple adapters for my PX80's.

Well if it's not an adapter then they took the PX80 body and made it into a 510 mod by gluing in an adapter. lol. They left the airflow slots used by the PX80 pod (at least I believe those are air slots, correct?)

Either that or the CAD designer got lazy when modifying the CAD for the pod mod. :D

I think it's just an adapter, glued in or not.

Yes those are airflow slots for the pod. I noticed that too.
