I've been thinking lately about picking up a Darwin. But I have a bunch of 1.25 ohm dual coil cartos. I've heard that some variable volt devices have problems with low resistance dual coil cartos. Has anyone tried these on a Darwin?
They will work fine...You just want to make sure your above 9 watts or so. Because if you have it lower it will make the unit struggle to keep the voltage lower than it wants to go (3.6 or lower)...My suspicion is your sweet spot will be around 10 watts with that resistance atty though.

Just gotta Darwin and before that I was using 1.5 ohm dual coil cartos on an ego battery. They will work fine on the Darwin. I also bought some 3 ohm cartos to go with the Darwin. Let me tell you it is amazing. I'll keep the 1.5s around for an emergency stash.
