What does everyone think about creating an annual set of awards for things like ...
Best Customer Service
Best E-juice Supplier
Best 3.7v mod
Best HV mod
Best Innovation of the Year ....and so on.
Just a thought but it would be a nice way to thank those folks that have helped us all get through the transition from analogs to PV's.

I will start with:
Supplies: (batterys, atties: etc): Rocky Mountain Vapor... Awesome vapor
E-Liquid: Nhaler, Mist-stiks, Liteicg Liquid.... and yes, Johnson Creek.....!!!
3.7 V: VP-2: Vaporlife.com
No vote on HV Mod... Don't own. one...But just found out my Puresmoker Pass through is on it's way to me... oh yes...
As far as best invention or innovation of the year? I am at a loss...
Just some of my imput.. thanks

Before everyone starts naming their picks, there would have to be someone who could organize this. I wouldn't know where to start:confused:
If enough people feel there would be merit to this idea, and someone who knows how to conduct a poll takes it and runs, I would think that a nomination process would need to be started. Once the totals for the nominees are done, a poll listing the top 5 by category would be needed. I would suggest a blind vote so that nobody knows who is ahead until the winners are announced.
I realize that I am opening a can of worms with this suggestion but it would not only recognize those who've worked so hard but would provide a road map to the best of the best for people looking to begin this journey.

I think it's a very good idea. Nominations could be done by write in... then take the top the from a set time period and then PM for votes... again in a set time period. wouldn't be very hard to organize and a special banner could be created quite easily for the winners to display on their website... I feel a top award would be something like Best Overall Supplier.
I would be willing to help as much as possible with tallying results, creating banners...

Well, I liked this idea so much that I went ahead and registered the domain vapys.com. I'm willing to provide the hosting and programming. Not trying to step on any toes there but I wanted to make sure it got registered to be used specifically for this purpose. I also tried vapy.com, but that is taken.

Any graphic artists out there who would like to help out with the design?

I guess the next thing to do is decide on the categories. After that, I can setup an email address where we can take nominations. I could forward that address to a couple people who want to help tally so that we can have results from a couple independent sources and make sure all our results match up.

Once we have all the nominees, I can create an actual voting page. It could be limited to one vote per email address or whatever ideas you all have for making sure the results don't get gamed.

What do you guys think, you in?!

This is a fantastic idea, could you have sub categories for specific models i.e. best performing batterys for 510, 401 etc etc, people could do proper tests of things like battery life, vapor production etc for each sep supplier of parts for the various models - this would help people evaluate which is best for them - and where they should get them from.

Could there also be an award for "services to the industry" type of thing?, what I mean is the people who do the campaigning, the testing, and the education etc to try and get E-cigs the mainstream approval that we all crave.

Maybe expand the customer service into categories. Shipping, service, returns, best cartomizer company, best traditional e cig supplier or something along those lines.

Maybe also divide by country.

If you just do CS I suspect Steve or Drew will win and we wont end up with a broad enough picture for newbies and people outside the U.S. Nothing wrong with them mind you.:)

I love the "Services to the Industry" idea. Concerning battery life and vapor production, are you suggesting battery life differences between models or within each model. I think all e-cig batteries for 510's for example are made by the same people. Also, vapor production is so subjective. I'd like to keep this as simple as possible.

Hmm, I might do it. Lemme make sure it wont get in the way of any other projects though.
