i was around for the onset of this and i was to say the least caught off guard with some of the info i received. i had to treat the initial information as accurate until more information was known. what i can say is that void has updated the site. my issues have for the most part been resolved.

See..thats where you're wrong. Without any reproducible evidence you took it upon yourself as a mod to sticky a warning that thousands would see. What you should have done is verify the information before taking action.

I also haven't seen a single person own up to it yet or offer an apology.

Due to the fact that I receive no personal info when a nomination comes to me, the only way I can assist you is if you PM me with exactly what you want changed. I need to know your original selection and if it was you first, second or third pick and what you'd like to replace it with.

If you send an email to info@vapyawards.com and tell us the address you originally used and what you want changed, I will make the change. If this is in relation to MoobyGhost, I would urge you to reconsider because the warning on his site has been removed. I am getting nominations that say things like "anyone but Mooby". I'm not happy that the reaction was to accuse the site without making any attempt to verify but there is no doubt that Mooby is a big part of the reason a lot of us are into vaping. Personally I think anyone who nominated him should stick with it and vote for him when voting is ready, but that is a personal thought and officially I will make any changes to anyone's nomination that they request.

Thanks for your support everyone. I can't wait to see who the winners are!

Yup. It was like the klaxons going off. That and the fact that it was cross-posted at Mooby's site at around the same time made it seem like absolute fact.

When I believe it was actually some 19 year olds in chat over at nu-vapor trying to suss out how you can register a domain without having it hosted and then jumping to the obvious conclusion that it was a huge evil Chinese plot to steal from Americans by way of a "secure proxy" "phishing" spam site.


I think people ought to apologize not only for the smear campaign based on nothing more than feelings... but for exposing all of us to mad lemming disease as well.

The silly smear of this effort is truely an excellent example of what we all need to try to avoid, forum dogpiles.

Okay, you can leave MoobyGhost as my top pick. All I wanted is a non-biased opinion and it appears that I now have that with this video.

You are far more forgiving than I would be in similar circumstance. All I saw was Mooby playing both sides of the fence without an apology. There are no concerns..I have heard the evidence and it's laughable. I swear to God the people at nuvapor share a brain.

I'm really sorry that all this happened. Seemed like a good idea at the time and I still think it is. So, yes. Third time is the charm as they say. Hopefully we can get down to the business of recognizing the talented people in our community.
