i had positive experience in the past with 24g 316l and wanted to try a sturdier wire (my favorite is 22awg kanthal that gives me fantastic flavor). The problem is that the flavor i get from this wire is not as good as expected. Is it possible that smaller awg ss produces less flavor? Anyone has similar experiences?

If @vexx is still around or still cares: I have 22ga in 2 rda right now and I don't notice any less flavor compared to my rda that has 26/36 ss clapton.

@the wind SS is all I vape. For many months now it has been all pre-spooled clapton but I have started going back to using plain round wire again and plan to revisit twisted 26 and triple twisted 28, and maybe some twisted gauge combinations. For the past year or so it was pretty much all in TC but I had a rta on a rx200s start giving me a bad tc vape so I put it in wattage mode and I was pleasantly surprised by how good a wattage vape is. Ended up flipping all my RTA to wattage mode, even on my drag and g2 that both do a great TC vape. All my RDA I run in TC SS mode to prevent a dry hit.

I was one of the first ppl using ss316l on here besides the ppl that were purchasing gplat before there was temp control and really no high wattage vv/vw devices. 22 was pretty big stuff for most decks especially rtas as none were really designed for cloud chasing. 24 ss316l was always my go to and spaced provided excellent flavor with 3mm id.
