Was looking for a Tekkeon on Ebay to mod and ran across this little **GEM**... I ordered one to see how things go.. It's not here yet but I'm sure that this could be either modded itself or the guts put into a project box for a killer mod.

External 2850mAh Battery Pack for Sony PSP Game System | eBay

If anyone else gets one and is much better at modding and gets one working quickly.. Please post a how to.. If I get mine working first.. I'll post one.

And If I had looked just a little bit further down... they have this one rated at 4000mAh. I will wait and see what i can do with the first one.. :)

Ok.. It arrived on Saturday... Size and shape are superb... Getting to the internals... Working on it. No screws to the outside and it appears to be very tight.. I don't want to destroy the case just to see what's in it.

The 2 little switches on top are variable voltage (5v, 6v, and 7.2v) and a light switch for the dual LED lamp.. In between switches there is a 2.5mm DC out. Basically, I would be using it at 5v 2a for 2850 mAh. Is the 2a enough to drive an atty?

Pics coming soon..

Dropped the build for now.. I figure I have the batts and all the parts inside if I need to use it for something. It still works fine other than the case broke apart in several pieces when opened. They used cheap plastic on the case and super glued the thing together.. I guess it saves cost. Might put it in a project box later and see what I can do with it.
