Anything more than 30% PG starts to taste chemical to me.
Agreed.

The vast majority of RTAs have leaking problems to some extent, and they are more finicky when compared to any and all of my RDAs. I own a whole bucket full of RDAs, all of them are authentic, and the vast majority are expensive high end. That said, I don't get leaking with any one of my four Reload Vapor USA Reload RTAs, at least not if I take a few drags within minutes after I refill. In my own personal experience, the Reload rta and the Deathwish Modz Isolation RTA are still the only RTAs that, flavor wise, hold a candle against the best performing flavor chasing RDAs such as the Kennedy 25 with the Stub Dogg drip tip, for example. I don't mean to be crass or anything, but over the past 3 years I have spent way more than a few thousand Euros on atomizers so I believe that I know what I am talking about here. Leakshows are not for me. Low wattage vaping mutes flavor, as does going with simple round wire or parallel round wire builds, and, the more people who have never done a fair comparison between all this and high wattage vaping on various decent complex coil builds, the more flavor keeps on getting muted.
Maybe I'm the godfather of wicking -which I'm most probably not- but I absolutely can't second that.
If you've got flavor and leaking issues with a vast majority of your RTAs, you should learn how to wick properly.

Leakage is not really too much of an issue anymore for me, either. I only use RTAs and a couple drop in tanks. I have SOME RDAs and some I quite like, some even tailpipe even (IDK why it doesn't bother me in an RDA) but yeah, my stuff doesn't leak much even surfing around my purse. I have taken to closing the airflow but that is because if you leave the airflow open on anything and tilt it on its side, you will get some seepage I think. I did the challenge: tissue paper and leaving some attys on their side overnight, airflow wide open. They BARELY leaked but it was enough for me.

First... what tank? Drop-in coils or RTA?
My most used tanks are the Lemo 2 rta and the Crown 2 (drop in). I have others like the Silverplay and a bunch of versions of the Kayfun clones. I have other stuff I just cant remember off hand. Everything I have leaks no matter if its an rta or a drop in. Also for 70/30 that would be 70 VG/30 PG.

Maybe a 70/30 summer blend and a 50/50 winter blend, kind of like motor oil.:)
Back in the day when I first started I did something like that with carto tanks. except it was 70 PG 30 VG in the winter and 60 PG and 40 VG in the summer. In the winter my liquids thickened up so much they wouldnt wick into the carto in the cold so I used a thinner liquid. LOL

Three words: Doggystyle, True, Precisio.
I agree with the others. Your atties should not leak, irrespective of PG/VG ratio. I started with Kayfuns, and used several (no real leaks, but a lot of gurgling), no leaks ever with the other two.

Have the doggie and have the True. Dont like them. Ive come to the conclusion MTL tanks arent for me. I am a mouth to exhale vaper. I think the subohm dtl tanks fit me better. I like the wide open airflow.

Bummer....I'd assumed from the Kayfun mention (and I thought Lemo was MTL) that you did more of a standard MTL. I won't be be of any help, but I still don't think other tanks should leak with high pg. Maybe our @AngeNZ can help. She mtl's but with very open tanks.

Technically, even water in a sealed tank shouldn't leak. O-rings are the #1 suspect if leaking occurs. For liquid to leak out, air has to enter. It's works like a straw. Dip it into a liquid, hold your finger over the top of the straw, and you can walk around without leaking until you allow air in around your finger.

PG/VG, not VG/PG!

I like 35/65. :)

Agree! If it's not specified we have no idea what the numbers mean. Traditionally, PG is the first number, but when the cloud vaping started some began to list the higher percentage first. Without labels we have no idea what the mix is unless it's 50/50.

I vape 70/30. Until I label it 70pg/30vg no one has any idea about what's in it.

more open RTAs worth trying would be the hellvape MD RTA, Coppervape hussar project x RTA and the Cthulhu Hastur MTL RTA
I have a Coppervape hussar project x and I cant figure it out. I need to watch some videos I suppose but Ive been kept busy with other tanks.
