You know, speaking of foreigners...I'm seriously thinking of buying a car in Wa. so I can have a car with "Washington" plates on it...I wander around consuming things just like any other American dude, no one gives me a second look, but as soon as I get in my car with those "British Columbia" plates on it I become public enemy #1

I hear ya Quiqs,,, I just noticed where your from,,, I have to say I was once in BC for 2 weeks, it is one of the most beautiful places I have been,, no trash, no crime, just a beautiful place, Victoria Gardens, took the Queen Elizabeth ferry I think it was up there, and went all over the place, fished, drank, Girls, had a freaking blast, it was 20 yrs back or more, but man what a nice place your in,,, At my age though I cant take the Cold anymore and like the warmer climate, my old joints act up in that dam cold stuff anymore,,,

In wicking the volume of the tank is irrelevant, the height of the liquid on the wick is very relevant. Capillary action is fighting gravity so the higher it has to go the less it wicks , if you stick a wick one inch into a small container or the ocean it will wick the same. Now in a small container as you vape off juice the height of the juice in the container reduces faster and thus would wick less. All this considering that all other parameters are equal. Any differences in pressure in the tank would void this.Pfft, don't think I didn't think about it
Not the volume of the juice container, the volume of the chamber that surrounds the coil end of things...the business end

When you take a draw though the air pull also should be making your mesh wick, wick even more so,,, thus the wick can only hold so much liquid , which is also key, "Holding the liquid" there is a point that comes where this is an important point and the mesh maxes out on how much it can or cant hold. you will notice when taking a vape there is a point where the wick has just that right amount of liquid in it and then you get a great vape, to much no good, to little no good,, this has made me start to think about a small SS tube that would screw on over top of your wick, not touching it but just a smidgen bigger then the wick,,, what would you guys think about this idea ? so you would put your wick together and install it then screw an outer tube down over it to surround your mesh wick, thus enclosing your wick but with a very small opening as a top hole, acting as a heat sink in a way too ? This way all that extra liquid could NOT run out of the wick and back down into your juice, and also keep your wick more moist,, thoughts ???

Boiling it cant hurt it Atlantisboy,, it can only help to purify it and get off any left over chemicals or dirt left on it from the manufacturing process, go for it.
I ordered an A3 sheet. I got 1/2 of the 500, and 1 1/2 of 200. I guess I can make some pants with the 200 LOL
On the ZAU I found coiling very difficult and almost ruined the wick. The DID wick could probably handle it better - I stuck a needle through mine to stabilize it, and had no problems.
I know you will order the 100 ft anyway

On my lab test a 70mm 500 tight wick the length of a sheet (11in) placed in 2 in if water maxed out at 3.25 inches above the water line. True the draw creates a low pressure in the heating chamber equally on the whole area of wick exposed in the heat chamber. More juice comes out the sides of the wick than out the top if there is no hole. The bigger the hole the bigger the pipe and more comes out the hole like a straw, but that is not wicking and very hard to control. Our coils have to be substantially lower than the max height and the lower they are the faster they replace the juice vaped. In the wicking process the higher the liquid rises the slower it rises until it stops when gravity overcomes adhesion.
