Hey BJ43 I just got my 500 mesh from the UK with a free sheet of something really fine not sure what size but my question is did you boil it before using it.Thanks.

I havent the foggiest idea what my second sheet is. I wish I could figure it out.

just for the record, I love all canadians and especially Vancouver. I am about to hire a Canadian employee. I have never met anyone from Canada that I did not love immediately.

Edit: it says = We will ship a free standard 'super fine' sheet (this will be #200 - #300) for every #400 mesh A4 sheet purchased.

When you take a draw though the air pull also should be making your mesh wick, wick even more so,,, thus the wick can only hold so much liquid , which is also key, "Holding the liquid" there is a point that comes where this is an important point and the mesh maxes out on how much it can or cant hold. you will notice when taking a vape there is a point where the wick has just that right amount of liquid in it and then you get a great vape, to much no good, to little no good,, this has made me start to think about a small SS tube that would screw on over top of your wick, not touching it but just a smidgen bigger then the wick,,, what would you guys think about this idea ? so you would put your wick together and install it then screw an outer tube down over it to surround your mesh wick, thus enclosing your wick but with a very small opening as a top hole, acting as a heat sink in a way too ? This way all that extra liquid could NOT run out of the wick and back down into your juice, and also keep your wick more moist,, thoughts ???

how would you get it around the wick? How would it stay secure? Would there be issues with the coil touching it and shorting? Inquiring minds want to know..... :)

yeah mwa what are you describing? is it that thing we talked about a while back?

Jimi: you mean he SHORTED you on half the mesh you paid for and included extra 200 to make up for it? no good!?

BJ: what you say about the coils being low is kind of why my Zen and DID piss me off. I love them, but I feel they would be a touch better if I had more clearance above the top of the negative nut for extra wick. But then I don't know if the airflow would get screwy. I guess I could try this with the DID as the nuts are adjustable.

Maybe in a different design the negative could have two nuts/slots, one at the top and one in the middle to take the actual connection. Guess the advantage of the Line is you can set your coils as low as you like, but I don't own one.

I'm confused - wouldn't this kill the air-flow over the wick? Won't no air on the wick kill the vapor?

You know, speaking of foreigners...I'm seriously thinking of buying a car in Wa. so I can have a car with "Washington" plates on it...I wander around consuming things just like any other American dude, no one gives me a second look, but as soon as I get in my car with those "British Columbia" plates on it I become public enemy #1 ...you Yanks are hard!, I mean come on, our only crime as Canadians is Celine Dion, now ok, I get it but put the fire arms away :p

I hear good things about Pathologists salaries in Canada, even after the crazy taxes, tempting

There would be a female set of threads in the bottom face plate going around the outside of the wick hole, and a male set of threads on the wick tube cover that screwed down over the wick, would be totally secure, and not touch the coil or mesh because the wick tube would be just sightly larger the the wick hole :)

Hey, we'd love to have ya!, that is if you can get over our crazy taxes (and universal health care, regulated banks that don't go under, clean/low crime cities, affordable education in some of the best universities in the world, actual drinkable beer and lots of cold winter nights with some very pretty Canadian women to keep you warm, etc...) come on over, join the dark side

So no thoughts on my idea of an SS tube that would screw down over the SS Mesh wick ? This would also help to create a more venturi type air flow with all the vapor coming out the top of this tube into the top cap of the Genesis unit.

Something like that?

Ah, I see. Interesting... that could work. I'd try this if I could :)
