Just some info as I just got some today.Clear XL duals using on my Old Goat 3.7 and my OldGoat 5 volt.perfect preformance with both no issues just filled,let sit about 15 min and vape! Good taste no burn noticed. Hope this helps.

Yeah I'm using mine on a 3.7v Chuck, it was going perfect until last night. I had that carto going since the night before. I'm hoping it's just some really bad luck on my end, which no doubt it is! I wanted to go couponing and my black ink cart died on me last night too. I just have the best luck in everything! /Sarcasm off

GC, I opened a new dual tonight (black one) and it had a ton that "stuff" in it. Looks like metal shavings 
, but yeah, I saw it as soon as I took out the cap to fill it. I opened another one and it was fine. WTH??? I'll get pictures of it tomorrow...er...later today.

Ooh, I have not seen that. Maybe I have been lucky but we have been through about 20 of the SS DCs between 2 of us and have had no issues knock on wood lol

I bought 10 of these from Hoosier after reading all the love on this thread. They're really awesome! I've only used a few so far and they are great! I've used them on my Gold Digger (at 3.7v) and my old ego batts. They work great on the ego batts too although I don't know if they'll kill the batts after a while.
The black specks are troubling; I wonder what that could be. So far I've only used two and they look normal, no black specks. I'll post if I discover any with this problem.

Hmm, the flecks weren't there when I first opened them, it was after a couple days of straight use that they appeared....I'd hate for there to be metal shavings in there!
Sheesh, I would too. maybe it was a bad batch? I have looked closely at mine and no black specks even in the ones that I have used for weeks.
Maybe it was something from the manufacturing process that surfaced to the top after use?

I had one that the thread piece was on the tube piece crooked. It left a gap on one side of the carto, allowing too much air in. But 1 out of 30+ ain't bad.
I have joined the ranks of the lovers of dual coils! These things rock! Now, must make this one I have last until I get more!

Hubby says it looks like the metal shavings from where they cut the top? He says metal such as aluminum is going to kill us all anyway so not to worry

First one I've seen like this Lbug. I have 12 more, will report as I go with them.
Here's hoping it's just a fluke. Looks like debris from the machinery. Perhaps that one didn't get 'blown out' ...?
