That's actually what I am talking about, 'just tiny amounts of various metals'. So more 0.0xx% metallic oxide in ceramic (compared to whole metal wire) will make any difference?

I noticed that, too. This is how GUO recommends rebuild/rewick it, and it prepare it for use. Makes me wonder if this Heat-Up needs to be done every time the Mod and Tank have been sitting long enough to cool down.

Apparently it's not working well on the DNA 200 boards. They also claim to have the T.C's but have not released them as of yet. The Dna 200 or similar high power device might help with the slow ramp up if it truly will work in TC.

I am very interested in getting one of these but I want to see what happens with this sideshow first. Hopefully they go on a fire sale so move some product, I will pick one up on the cheap, then it will come out that the ceramic coil IS the best thing since sliced bread.
