Oh, the confusing nomenclature...

If I understand correctly, the Echo is has a standard 808 connection, though somewhat wider at the base.

Does the I-Turbo have the same base as the Echo?

There is an 808 variation that is along the lines of an Ego (though I usually associated Ego with 510) that has an extra set of threads. Is that the Igo design?

(more questions to follow)

Perhaps I'll make up a reference chart...

The echo is a slightly larger 808 battery. Smokeless image sells the x2, which is ego like. But instead of a 510 connection at the end, it has an 808 connection. The bigger threads, where the "cone" would go, are the same threading as the ego cone threads. It is also a slightly higher voltage battery than an ego. Egos ( non twist) are regulated to 3.3 v, the x2 at 3.7/3.6 v.

Dac - thanks for the information.

What I'm wanting to do is to (for one) is maintain my flat-topped mod with 808 connector and be able to use 808 cartomizers with cone threading on it. MadVapes has an 808D to (510) eGo Adapter which can be handy. A few vendors refer to the 808 + cone theard device as an 808 Ego. That's messy as nearly all Ego references are to 510 threaded devices. I wonder if there is an official or semi-offical name for the connection of 808 with cone threads.

If I can get the information together, I'd like to make a chart, perhaps with pictures that sorts the 808/808+cone thread matter out.

Here is a picture of an adapter from Nhaler which seems to me to be for 510 Ego. Yes, and now that I've saved the picture off the Nhaler site, I see it's title mentions 510. I think it is upside down in the photo.

I'm not sure I understand, but I'm going to toss this into the mix just in case it helps:

PV Adapters

Select the 901 batt-to-808 carto.

I used these on 901 batteries to give me air flow for 808 cartos. They do add length, if that's what your looking for.

If not... well, then just ignore this :)

ETA: they do screw on to all my 808 batteries.

Heathers Heavenly Vapes has adapters that thread into an 808 to allow use of 510 type carts/tanks, etc.

From what I'm seeing. After doing a little more research, it looks as though the echo cartomizers are flat topped, with only a slightly recessed cone. The echo does not have the threads for the cone like the x2. All in all, I'd say stay away from the echo. You may or may not have much success trying to do what you're trying to do. Though you would be able to use your other cartomizers you currently use for your 808 flat top.
