I think it was harder to withdrawl from all the other chemicals in analogs. When I used to smoke analogs and had that "I gotta have a smoke and i need it NOW" the intensity of "needing a smoke" was bad but now since Im vaping 24mg nic juice and the only addictive ingredient is the nic, it seem that that intense craving is soooo much less. Im so glad that im no longer a raving maniac when I need my nic.

Very very true!

I am not a morning person, and since retiring, it is even more difficult to get going. I used to need that am coffee and tobacco kick to even function. Now, I have coffee and vap a lot, then put it aside. It's like my system is full of nic, and no craving for analogs.

I am finding all this information about 'other' ingredients in analogs amazing and appalling!! I honestly had no idea how many chemicals I was inhaling. I won't lie, inhaling the vaper makes me nervous, esp pg and flavor additives, (and I really would like to know why I keep getting canker sores inside of my mouth and I really really hope they aren't in my lungs too), but compared to what I was inhaling before the ingredients in ecigs seem minimal.
I too, experience much less strong cravings for ecigs than I did for analogs. That is odd, since ecigs are actually PLEASANT to use and analogs were stinky and smelly etc. I can forego vaping for hours on end, when I was a smoker, that simply was not an option.
I appreciate all of you with your good information. This is a wonderful forum.

I'm wondering if you used VG+*whatever* instead of PG that the canker sores would go away.... And also if you do your own flavorings if that trying differant flavoring companys might also help

I have been vaping since Oct 13th - off analogs totally. I smoked 10 years, 1.5 - 2 packs of Ultra-Light 100's a day. I now chain-vape 8mg carts. I thought I was one of the lucky ones that didn't have extreme symptoms of vaping until this past week. I did not have "quitter's cough", constipation, dry throat, or any of the other (now) seemingly serious but short lived symptoms. What I did encounter was panic attack, major depression, fatigue, increased urination, very dry skin, acne, memory loss, cognitive inabilities (lose train of thought or learning curve got REAL BIG).

So, Bogalu, yes I am experiencing or experienced depression and increased agitation. I have read several threads regarding MAOI's (antidepressants) being present in analogs, therefore withdrawals from not only nicotine (lower dosages due to vaping not giving as much nic) AND withdrawals from antidepressants wreaked havoc on me the past couple of months - without my being entirely aware of why or it actually happening - it reached a breaking point last week.

I now know why I have been fatigued and depressed - no antidepressants. Also, why I had a panic attack - less antidepressants to counter the stimulant effect of nicotine.

Just thought I would share my symptoms.
I guess I'm lucky. I've only been vaping for a week, now, and I'm not experiencing any real symptoms except for the coffee.

Antidepressants and all the poisons in analog cigs? I switched to Winston Lights several years ago. 100% tobacco, and no additives. So I'm not suffering from antidepressant withdrawal or those cravigs ...

today is my second day and im experiencing a sensitive throat. not really a sore throat, just tickles at the very back and when i try to vape or smoke, my pharynx refuses to let me inhale and makes me spit it back out. kinda like when youve got a nasty cold and you want soooo badly to have that ciggy with your morning coffee but just cannot get that smoke (or in this case, vapor too) down your throat. but, this is only my second day and im sure that will change. just thought I'd mention it.

*LOL* and you believe that Winstons don't have the antidepressants in them since they claim they are 100%n tobacco?? *LOL*

I have been on ECF's for less than a week but I have not had any side effects.

I have some dry skin but it has also been very cold here and the heat has been on, so that could also do it.
I noticed that in the morning when I take a Vap, it does burn the back of my throat but goes away after the second Vap. At least i am not getting light headed and my head all fogged up!!
Before I switched, I was smoking American Spirits. They are awesome Analogs. They actually are additive free, unlike Winston, and made by native Americans in the Desert. Of course that does not include what chemicals the farmers use to grow the Tobacco and don't inform the company of. LOL

I LOVE Vaping!!

The Biotine mouthwash and tootpaste are really good.. I've been using it for years because no matter how high or low my blood sugar is, I'm still constantly thirsty and it's attributed to my kidney problems and type 1 diabetes..

I haven't even thought to ask my dentist about vaping, but as with any doctor, you'd think that a dentist would be happy that you stopped smoking.. When comparing analogs with vaping, I'd think that using nicotine, vg and/or pg, and flavoring in cmparison to analogs would be so much better than ciggies.. Your teeth would be cleaner, healthier, and whiter...

Your sleeping pattern is all messed up probably because you have more energy than you use to...I am thinking this is because your blood gets more oxygen now that you are no longer inhaling vast amounts of carbon monoxide that you use to get from cigarettes. Two of my friends experienced this after I turned them on to the PV's. They started exercising and now do not find it hard to get to sleep when they need to.

Anyone here tried using Listerine for this?
That's comparing apples and oranges...

Listerine is not like Biotene in any way.. Biotine has a LP3 salivary enzyme-protein system. Biotene’s moisturizing polymers, offer oral comfort and help strengthen saliva’s natural properties. Plus it does not burn like Listerine, and Listerine has alchohol which causes dry mouth..

Listerene kills germs and is great, but it does nothing for moisturizing and helping dry mouth...

The lactic acid produced from PG must be extremely brief. I've been at this for two years and have blood tests every six months. There has never been even a hint of lactic acidosis. I make sure they check for that, since 95% or my liquid is PG-based.

I have used my e-cig within minutes of having blood drawn. I do not consider sore muscles a consequence of my e-smoking. You could be different, of course.
