I can go from zero-to-..... in less than 30 seconds when my battery runs down. I don't get the juice in my mustache, as you can see from my avatar, the flame from the birthday candles keeps it singed off

My teeth have gotten sensitive too--have little doubt it's because the numbing I got from cigarettes isn't there now. Smoking does an excellent job of dulling the senses (so we don't have to smell ourselves either). It's funny that my house started smelling like smoke after I gave up cigarettes >grin<

Well my nose itches high up inside. Sinus. I sneeze more. So I spray it with saline solution which helps, or put some Vaseline up inside nose. But good side effects are hair is getting longer and fingernails are growing faster and stronger.

I've used a neti pot for years to irrigate my sinuses. Have learned to pour it in my nostril and let it drain out my mouth. After you learn not to gag and choke it's really a great way to clear out your head.

I read the hair & nail bit earlier today then started wondering about this--why would hair and nails grow faster? My nails have taken off and I remarked a couple of days ago my hair seems to be growing like mad. Never thought about it having anything to do w/vaping. Anybody have any ideas why this would be?

Also, I've smoked Djarum cloves for a number of years and I truly miss the clove numbing from them. I always said "mmmmm" everytime I lit one up. They are sooo delicious.

I must have some sort of allergic reaction to PG. When I first started vaping I had no problems, but now when I puff for 20 minutes or so, the palms of my hands turn red and itch like crazy. I've never experienced this reaction EVER before. Because it's right after vaping, and I tried 3 different juices, it must be related. Does anyone know if this reaction is a symptom of allergy? I didn't find any other posts with this symptom, so it must be very rare or no one has mentioned it. I suppose I should order the VG version and try that.

This is my first full day of vaping, and my throat hurts a bit, i'm drinking lots of water tho, since now I am going to quit sodas and other flavored death drinks.

My question is: The throat hit is STRONG, I also sing and record songs as a hobby, I noticed that when i smoked analogs, ebcause of reduced lung capacity and as just a side effect of smoking, I couldn't really sing as well as I used to. I'm hopeful that now as I switch to vaping, that my voice will come back, I know my lung capacity will, but what about that soreness at the back of the throat and such...will that go away and will my singing voice be back to normal?

Anyone know anything about this?

Thanks!

Eric (currently SMILIN':D)

While vaping, i had extremely sore throat and dry throat. It happened with both pg and vg. Anyway, i noticed i couldn't sing after a few days. Then i lost my voice. :(

I was thinking about my symptoms with burning itching hands and vaping. Perhaps it has to do with better circulation. After quitting analogs, maybe I have better circulation in the capillaries in my hands. I used to get very dry and peeling skin on my hands each winter. I always thought it might be related to smoking and lack of good blood flow in the extremities. Maybe my symptoms are related to a good thing, blood flowing where it was restricted before...

I've not gotten any of the "bad" symptons at all. The only thing I've noticed is a bit more skin oil on my face, and my mustache is growing like weeds. I just broke out my bicycle the other day after not riding it for 14 years and try to go for about a 3 1/2 mile ride every other day. I don't even huff and puff when I'm done. It takes me about 30 minutes to ride my usual route.

When I started vaping I was worried about tingling in my legs... afraid I wasn't tolerating vaping well. But I did some reading and saw that tingling or itching in the extremities can happen when you quit smoking, for exactly the reason you say - better blood flow and oxygenation. It will pass. It took a few weeks for me, but I was a heavy smoker.

I had no side effects when i stopped analogs 8 weeks ago.
Maybe this is due to the fact that i do an hour of cardio every day?

I have had no side effects to vaping either.

Sometimes i over-vape, and i feel the nic level is too high.
So i will stop 15 minutes and go from a 36mg dose to a 24mg.

Other than that...apart from a few occasional tantrums when an atty dies or the prodigy acts up...nada !!!:D

I have the opossite effect of not retaining water, I had to stop vaping for a few days because of the nasal dryness and constipation after the first 5 days, even after drinking lots of water, now I'm back to analogs:mad: I had such high hopes for e-cigs as my salvation from tobacco that I ordered a bunch of juice and atomizers, but I'm really drepessed that I might not be able to continue vaping. Anybody had this happen?

::RAISES HAND:: I have and am actively experiencing this most horrific symptom. I cannot poop! Its very frustrating! Food goes in... day one day two day three... food doesn't come out! :( I consume many doses of fiber therapy with my meals and I try to drink many fluids (I do notice I'm not as thirsty without analogs) but no success!

Thankfully, when it gets super bad, I have a plethora of glycerin (imagine that) and glycerin is an effective laxative when used as a suppository.

I am going to give it another day or two to see if my body adjusts before switching back to analogs again.. :(

Anyone else have as dramatic of an adjustment in this particular area of health?

I don't know.... I've been vaping since June 1st and I can't get rid of this headache... Thought it was too much nicotine, so now I take my 36mg-30ml bottles and divide them into 3-15cc bottles and cut them in half with VG.. Still can't get rid of this headache...

I did have a headaches in the beginning and started cutting juice strength until they are gone.
Guess what - I can tolerate 12 mg without any problems and more vapor from added VG sort of compensates the whole experience making me a satisfied PV convert.

I wanna share!

background - smoked a pack a day for a little over a year, then stopped for a few weeks, relapsed for a couple packs, bought a 510 and haven't smoked a full cig in a month (and it was horrible tasting, wonder why its so bad)

when I first stopped smoking I got some vivid nightmares and a daily headache for a while, headache is gone, nightmares are easing but not gone

only thing I've noticed with vaping is dry throat with PG liquids (started with VG then tried PG), and if you don't hydrate it will get so dry you get the "razorblades in the throat" feeling I've seen some complain of - I played through the pain and after a week of PG it's much better, slight dry throat after 'chain' vaping but no longer annoying

no muscle pain or anything like that, still hack up some stuff from time to time, but attribute that to other things...

When I quit smoking (quit for a year and a half!), I did not get the "cough" nor any breakouts. I did gain a little weight. But that was quickly worked off at the gym. My sense of smell did come back, and that was amazing! The biggest thing was being able to smell smoke on my jackets or other peoples clothes. Needless to say, I did do alot of cleaning! I did unfortunitally went back to smoking and have been analog smoking for a little over a year again.

I am trying e-cigs to hopefully save money, breathe better, and get my better sense of smell back. I run about 5 miles every morning. And I would like to make it further and at a faster pace. My lungs hate me everyday after the morning run! LOL
