I'm very interested in the IBTanked tanks because of the hand made quality. Very nice!
Are these the correct size for the XL cartos, or are they meant for standard size?
The IBTanks are just the right size for xl cartos. As I mentioned before, they are of excellent quality and design. Only a bit skinny for my liking is all. I hope they come out with a larger one, like a 5ml.
I didn't notice that one. I have to place another order and think I'll get one of those also. I've seen people add sticker decals which might but fun to try on this also.
Yes, XL fits great. I just put on XL 801 Fusion on the mottled one onto my blue IPro and it looks fab!
I ordered a plain one the other day and they are really cheap. I like your mottled one. I plan on using XL 801 fusions in it. Fusions are my faves.
Did you remember to get the end caps? I tried various other caps but none would fit so I had to go back and order another set today - FYI. I suggested she offer other options for people who don't want to spend so much money but don't know if that is possible. Has anyone found any other caps that fit these?
I ordered the end caps and O rings from them and it was still only like $27. Compared to Phiniac, that is really low.
For those interested in how the OCD tank holds onto the carto, it does and does it well. After filling it does slide a bit, but all tanks do. Once it settles it the carto is very snug.
I tried to order a clear tank from IBTanked this weekend, but for some reason it wouldn't accept my credit card. I order online all the time and its never been an issue.
I have a Pro V cartomator pre-ordered for my next purchase, one of the new color Provari's. The tank looks awesome on a Provari, with similar dimples on the end caps. However, it uses a polycarbonate tube, which I'm really trying to get away from. I was hoping that just maybe the IBTanked glass tube would match up.

I got the Siam Mods pyrex tank (my first glass tank) and it matches perfectly with my ProVari. Clouds of Vapor sells the tanks and the end caps separate, so you can mix and match as you like:

You buy the tube, O rings, and caps separately. It is the plain one. I just ordered one and they are cheap even after you buy the caps...

The clear IBTank w/ ss caps looks really nice on that chrome Provari. I imagine it would also be nice on a chrome Bolt, Vmax, et al.

That was my concern with the cartomator also. I've ordered from IBT twice but I used paypal with no problems. Didn't bother trying with a cc.
BuGlen, How well did your caps fit the Siam glass tank?
I got the cobalt glass tube and the SS caps; the caps fit really ( really, really ) tight on the carto, but are so loose on the
tube, it was a problem filling the tank.
I got the clear XL size tank and the caps fit snug. Not as tight as my SS caps on my Phiniac tank, but tight enough where they don't come out without a bit of effort.
